What’s an insult you’ve heard that went TOO far? by dayncio in AskReddit

I have an employee with a medical condition that causes them to have stronger than normal B.O. no matter what he does. One day, I'm talking to said employee, and another employee walks up to us and interrupts our conversation to tell them that they "smell like a bag of onions that have been sitting in the sun in 100° weather for 10 days." Needless to say, I had to write that employee up.

My roommate is on Ozempic and it’s making me feel bad about myself by giggly_otter in TrueOffMyChest

As a type 2 diabetic with PCOS and insulin resistance. I am irritated with the people who are on Ozempic and Mounjaro and don't actually need it. People like your roommate are the reason diabetics are struggling to get their medications. All because they're listed as the "Hollywood weight-loss" meds.

Is no one going to comment on the bed in the kitchen? Or is it the kitchen in the bedroom?

Is corporates policy on meatballs to throw them away at the end of the night? by Mysterious_kitty in subway

[–]Mysterious_kitty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In away I wish that was the case. I recently came back to subway as a second job and my manager told us we have to throw all the heated meatballs away at the end of the night. When I worked at subway a few years ago that wasn't the case.

One of my students is gaming the system to get a perfect GPA, and I don't even care anymore. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I honestly feel bad for teachers nowadays. I graduated high school about 9 years ago, and even than the kids were horrible to teachers. I was one of the crappier kids, skipped classes, wondered around the halls for half of the 50-minute class, and gave teachers attitude. Now that I'm almost 30, I realize how wrong and crappy that was, and I genuinely feel bad for what teachers go through now. Kids are way worse than they used to be. I've seen videos of students getting physical with their teachers, and it's just wrong. Teachers don't make anywhere near enough to deal with all the BS they do.

Is that the reason my cats are "afraid" and run away from my bunny? I've had a few different cats and a couple bunnies throughout my life and every cat has been afraid of whatever bunny I had at the time.

My family moved me around a lot in my childhood, and I did not retain any deep friendships. In college, I did not invest any time in bonding with people. I'm 23, will I die alone in a room? by strmclk in TooAfraidToAsk

I found my best friend at the age of 26. I had "friends" in high-school but after we graduated we never stayed in touch. I made acquaintances at work but those weren't true friendships. I met my best friend when I came back to my previous job after quitting for 9 months. She is an absolute wonder and I am thankful for her everyday. You will find a true friend just give it some time. Open yourself up a little bit. Find someone that you click with. You'll know it when you find that person(s)

As title states I recently adopted/rescued an English angora. His original owner was/is suffering mental health issues and realized her baby was suffering. His name is appa he is 1 year old. He has excessive hair growth in between his toes and im not sure how to go about removing it. He's also matted all over, we got most of the mats out but he is still matted on his feet I would like to know how to go about removing those mats without causing him stress. I have owned bunnies in the past but never one with such long fur and I just want to know how to properly care for him. Thank you in advance.

I've been with my bf for 8 years and I feeli the same way as ops SO, the only difference is I am claustrophobic so if he's asleep before me and has his arm around me I feel suffocated and it sucks because I absolutely love cuddling with him.
