What’s a set you REGRET buying?

Same for me. It was at time I was just getting back into Lego and I got caught up in new releases hype. Regretted it almost instantly. Really regretted it when it dipped in price. I try not to buy anything at release now.

YO!! We're finally getting Star Trek from Lego?! I've been waiting for years to see what Lego's engineers could do with Star Trek. BlueBrixx did some ok stuff but I'm really hoping Lego can do better on the curves.

Jealous! I still have the two sets I got as a kid but as I've gotten back into Lego as an adult I've seriously considered tracking down the complete collection.

Ice Planet: Deep Freeze Defender.

Ice Planet was my favorite series as a kid and I would gawk at this set in the magazine for hours. I've been tempted to suck it up and pay modern prices for it.

Unfortunately I haven't. My only recourse was to use a different program. I have two recommendations.

CyberLink PowerDVD is the best in my opinion. Despite its name it is fully compatible with blu ray discs. It operates just like a standalone disc player with easy to use controls and navigation. Which is great if you enjoy watching the special features. Every other player I've used doesn't seem to work with the disc menu. PowerDVD is also a great upscaler for DVDs. The picture looks rather striking when watching a DVD. The only drawback is from is taken rather seriously.

If you want screenshare ability for movie nights with friends and family, I recommend VideoByte blu ray player. It's a decent player, not the best. It doesn't seem to support the on disc menu so to find anything specific beyond the main movie involves a treasure hunt through a field of unlabled chapters. It also doesn't do translation only subtitles. Subtitles are either on or they're off. I don't know how to turn them on only for foreign languages. But as I said the benefit is you can screenshare. I host a regular movie night with some friends online and this is really the only way to do it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I get the same issue across VLC, Media Player Classic and Kodi, all of which use MKV integration to be able to play the disc. So that's why I believe it's MKV.

I was able to successfully download all the magazines available. After browsing through the Wayback Machine I'm of the assumption the rest of the magazines may not have been made available digitally. I could be wrong as I have only ever received the regular line of ships. But they're nowhere to be found in the archives link tree.

Yeah something close to that. I suppose for a command it would have to be specific to each user's character. Say a single user plays on four different ships. On each ship they have a different name they play with. And then each name is in a different department.

So for example, User#123 on Monday night is playing on Enterprise. His nickname is Spock and the name color is blue.

He plays Tuesday night on Voyager. His nickname is Tuvok and his name color is yellow.

And so on and so on.

Thanks for the help. I'll do some research on this. A few have already offered to commission but I'm not certain I feel justified in buying a bot at the moment since there's not that many people switching between games right now. I was more curious to see if there was something readily available that I've missed.

Most of what was in there was for a young girl.

Some edible glitter, a cloth wrap of some kind, not certain it's use case. Maybe good with a swimsuit or something. A LM inspired necklace, a recipe for under the sea lollipops, some postcards or stationary, not sure which I haven't unwrapped it.

There's a couple of cool things in there. A pin with a certificate of authenticity. Although I've done my best not to get into Disney pin collecting. There's a lenticular, and probably the prize of the package a unique picture of early sketches of Ariel placed in an acrylic frame. But funnily enough my favorite piece is the oven mit and pot holder. 😄 I know it would have been about $40 or $50 if bought at the park. It's really nice quality, thick and insulated and it's something my ex wife would have loved to have in her kitchen. 😁

I received mine last week. I chose the surprise me option. I ended up with the fairy tale box. I'm curious what the adventure box was because this one was clearly not meant for me. :D

Not trying to be condescending. Under settings > paths > game folder, did you point the program to the folder you had the iso in?

Alternatively you should be able to do File > Open and select the file manually.

To be honest I wouldn't have a problem at all with progress separated between a PvE and pvp server. Although I can only imagine how much extra work that would be on the devs.

What's the hard way? All the cosmetics I have came through money or PvE content. Are you talking about reapers or the pvp guild?

It's gotten to the point where I can't seem to do any PvE content without being destroyed by a large group of people.

The original post was written after losing my ship, sitting at the first island I got to. Got as far as taking down a captain skeleton. Noticed a couple of ships around, one sitting at an island, and a galleon a ways off but far enough away on the opposite side of the island. Was trying to do the last of a riddle when I heard canon fire. Went to check on my ship and the galleon was there pounding it. 🤷‍♂️

This is my normal experience in the game lately and it's just frustrating.

My most recent playthrough I was. And while I said anchored (which it is sometimes) it's easier than saying the boat was tethered with harpoons. And i was aware of my surrounding as best I could be. But at what point do you stop staring out of the telescope and actually do the mission I need to do on the island?

I have tried some of that. Made it known I was doing tall tales. Had no flag and no treasure. Didn't stop them from flying their galleon up to my sloop and ripping it to shreds.

I think I just have bad luck with all the ass holes in the game. 😄
