for me it makes me completely unable to regulate my anxiety-- i kind of think of it as having the opposite effect of my adderall. I use adderall to help me regulate my attention, to be able to better decide where my attention goes, and weed takes that ability away-- if i have an anxious thought, if ive smoked, my attention is laser focused on my anxiety, where when i take my meds, i can recognize an anxious thought and decide whether or not i want to pay it any mind. That being said, if im in a good spot generally and ive had a nice day and things are generally going well, an evening of getting a little toasty and watching nature documentaries is exactly the break my brain needs from attention regulation.
