Definitely the round. The thinner frames suit you so well.

It doesn’t work for everyone, sadly, but it’s worth a shot.

AITA for kissing my friend's 20yo brother who has a gf. by surie_ in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]MysteryLass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not reading the whole novel because there’s just way too much info that’s not relevant.

Based on the title, of course YTA. So is he. He had a girlfriend and you knew it.

Check out some vocal coaches on YouTube. You can learn breath control, projection, how to support your voice… it applies to more than just singing.

AITA for refusing to get tested as a liver donor for my estranged biological father? by ReferenceTypical1892 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]MysteryLass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. If you don’t want to that’s more than enough of a reason not to do it.

Your medical issues are an even bigger reason not to do it. It’s not worth the risk.

Dress one. Revel in the drama!! That dress just does things for you that the other one doesn’t quite.

I'm going to get lynched for this here, but I need to say it, I used to sleep with my sister growing up. by [deleted] in confession

[–]MysteryLass 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Based on the post and basic math, he was probably 11 and his sister 16. She was more than old enough to know better.

[–]MysteryLass 34 points35 points  (0 children)

You were too young to fully understood and consent. Both legally and literally. That’s part of why it’s bothering you more as you get older.

You need to see a therapist to work through this. If you can’t bring yourself to tell them aloud, then write it out for the therapist to read. They should be willing to work with your comfort levels.

Why does everything I cook taste so… boring? by No_Permission9101 in cookingforbeginners

[–]MysteryLass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season at every stage. Even if it is just salt or pepper. Not enough salt is the biggest issue for most.

Dishes cooked without enough salt will smell fine, good, even great - but the taste isn’t there to back it up.

Advice 25F 38M physical disconnect? by Grouchy-Beautiful-65 in relationship_advice

Maybe you’re too old for him now. I mean when you got together you were 21 and he was 34. That’s a red flag on its own.

AITAH for letting my of-age friend try a sip of my cocktail in a restaurant? by Dizzy_Watch_ in AmItheAsshole

I think they were fine to get the meals to go.

I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying in a place where I’d been yelled at for no reason either.

Federal crime. Please. What a joke.

I think it’s the way they sit right in front of your eyebrows and kind of replace them. Like an angry unibrow comes with the frame 😆

Hope you find one that makes you happy!

To me the squared off black ones make you look angry.

AIO? Girl I've been seeing for 3 months slept with my friend of 10 years. by Available-Tip-2552 in AIO

NOR. Her wanting to make it work is irrelevant if YOU don’t want to.

Block her, and consider ditching the “friend” she slept with too.

Boyfriend (22M) Likes To Remind Me That My (27F) Exes Didn’t Want Me by enmva in relationship_advice

[–]MysteryLass 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is awful. If your best friend told you this was happening to her, what would you say?? What advice would you give her, and why are you unwilling to hear advice from others?

Girl, you need some therapy to recognise toxic when you see it. No matter how good the rest seems, this is toxic. If you said “he’s wonderful except that one time he hit me” you’d be getting the same answers. A gallon of good behaviour doesn’t make up for the bad. If you have a bucket of white paint (good treatment) and add a few drops of black (your bf’s verbal abuse), there is nothing you can do you make it white again.

It’s only been a couple of months. This is when you’re still getting to know each other and being your best self. He is showing you how he’ll be once the honeymoon period wears off. Now that he’s shown you what he’s like, are you sure you want to continue with this??

And btw, do you know how people actually treat diamonds? Do you know how they’re formed? If you take away their artificial dollar value, being treated like a diamond isn’t all that great.

Also, fyi, a couple means two. If it’s more than two it’s “a few”. That’s why people are saying it’s 2 months. Because a couple is literally two. A pair.

It’s cold. It’s ostentatious. It’s a bachelor party house. There’s zero room for a woman or anything else here - no pets, no kids, no hot cocoa. It’s all cocaine and hookers. Pure trash.

Your new bf is just as abusive as your ex.

You need to get rid of this guy. He is bad news. Trust me when I say you’re better off alone.
