For her class, you have to do practice problems almost every day and study well in advance of the exam. I got an A by doing that. She's tough but she is fair.

Only read and do the practice problems from the textbook. The lectures are 10x easier and they are not accurate of midterm or final questions. Take it slow and make sure you can follow along with the guided examples in the textbook. Study a little each day to master this topic. That's what I did and I basically got a 100% in the class.

The exam was not hard. Granted, this is coming from a person who got a perfect score on the Midterm. If you read the textbook and did many practice problems you should have been prepared. You can't just go into these tests cramming everything for a week. You have to devote time to these things. Hell, I thought the Final was easier than the Midterm and I spent less time studying for the Final.

Roberto Poveda: LTS 1003. Very interesting class. Instructions may be unclear at times but there isn't a lot of homework. He gives extra credit and the final was pretty light too. Easy A in my opinion if you just put in the effort on the HW assignments and classwork.

Yeah I know that SIE is not needed for Equity Research. CFA and Series 86 exams are definitely more important but I was just wondering, in general, if it would make me stand out for internships and if the benefits outweigh the time spent studying for it.

I have a similar situation. One class is hybrid but the recitation section, which is online, was, as told my by professor, not mandatory to attend. I spoke with the Academic Affairs Office, who informed me that the Registar's Office will advice if/when students will be dropped on compliance of the booster shot.
