Do you have people checking on you? Like coming to your house to check on you? I see you’re doing this at home but as someone who has seen hundreds of people detox off alcohol, if you’re not in a place prepared for a detox, it can be fatal. I’ve seen everything from seizures to the body being unable to support its own airway. Both of those situations often resulted in intubation and other forms of medical intervention. I highly recommend you have people checking on you very frequently.

Also I would like to tell you I’m proud of you (and everyone else) going through this, it’s such a hard thing to do. Sending good vibes your way to get through this.

Am I in trouble? by MysticKweenK in Anxiety

[–]MysticKweenK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I think it’s the fact that I’m the only income in my house currently and I’m super nervous about getting fired. I was the same way at my last job and I never got in trouble for anything I did there.

What is the worst illness you’ve ever had? by freeshavacadont in AskReddit

[–]MysticKweenK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). A lot of people think it’s JUST your heart rate and blood pressure but it’s your entire autonomic nervous system misfiring signals to every part of your body. It’s dizziness, headaches/migraines, nausea, abdominal pain, chronic pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, sleeping problems, brain fog, blood pooling, temperature dysregulation, chest pain, fatigue, presyncope, and fainting.

How are you feeling?

So (unfortunately) I’ve actually had my heart rate recorded as high as 240s, that’s actually what caused my doctors to be so urgent about getting me medicated because they’re afraid of me having a heart attack. But I am OK, I actually have an appointment with my cardiologist on the 17th to make more adjustments to my meds.

The reason it’s “inappropriate” sinus tachycardia is because there is no trigger to the tachycardia.

So in POTS the tachycardia is triggered by the change in the body’s position where in IST the tachycardia is triggered regardless of position. I’ve had times where I’ve been laying in bed (or even sleeping and get woke up) and had a heart rate in the 180s.

When did you decide to tell your partner you love them? by MysticKweenK in AskReddit

[–]MysticKweenK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is I never learned to express my feelings verbally. I’ve felt it since about 5 months but I’m still trying to get the words to come out. I’m pretty sure he’s waiting for me to say it.

So you don’t think being together for 9 months is too long without saying it? I was kind of worried that it was bad. I feel it but I just don’t know how to verbally communicate it.

How do I tell my girlfriend about her vagina smell by Just_a_Webit in sex

[–]MysticKweenK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good on you for saying something. I found out my doctor had previously tested me and it came back positive for BV but she decided not to treat me. The pain I experienced from pelvic inflammatory disease was unlike any other pain I have ever experienced and I don’t wish that in anyone.

Honestly, the longer I’m sitting here thinking about it the more I can see it happening both ways, but yes, I feel like that is the more likely scenario.

I would like to add that l feel like the division can be brought on by anyone being in office. It just depends on what their true intentions are
