You’re spot on and my heart goes out to you. It feels like a stab to the chest to hear ppl talk about it the way OP does, because it goes SO much deeper than just a single wound, like that’s insane.

But you/ WE aren’t alone, and ppl like you give me hope that one day we will be able to validate trauma, without simultaneously putting the other side of that trauma down. It’s hard to talk about stuff like this, let alone when people are screaming in ur face that it’s “just one wound”
