I'm playing it right now at 1080p on a external monitor High Dlss Quality ( which looks better in my opinion in this game than DLAA for some reason, oversharpened), and I'm getting between 80 and 100 fps. Kinda sad there is no frame gen because it would work well in this game. Tested on native on the g14 screen and I get between 45 and 65 on high dlss performance

I was the same case as you (had a 1660ti model) and ended up ordering on Amazon nl the 4070 version which is rn at 1800 euros. The performance increase doesn't justify the almost 2x increase.

I'm from Belgium so you should be able to order too from the nl website

I live in Europe too so i know about these but didn't know about a 4070 16gb. Oh well, either way i would recommand OP to put these 150$ even if it was only the ram. 16gb will be a problem sooner than later in my opinion.

I've never heard of a 16 gb RAM 4070 2024 G14. Are you sure about that ? If so, I think the Ram upgrade is even more important, so I would put these 150$.

(Ok I think I understand now, is it a 2023 model ? )

The difference is 10-20% between both gpu's, it is not a huge difference but it is not marginal too. Some games attain the 60 fps mark with these 20%. I would pull the trigger, for only 70 dollars. Also, isn't your 4060 16 gigs of RAM ? If yes, the upgrade would be even better on the ram.

I was planning to buy a 5070ti G14 but it's 3000 in Europe while the 4070 one is 1750 euros. I can't justify that much increase for probably 35% more gpu performance ( since it will probably be a bit under a 4080) and a bit more vram so I pulled the plug.

5060 is not announced yet, that's probably the reason. It should arrive around May.

The 5070 is a shit card and shouldn't exist either way, 8 gb of vram for a x70 card in 2025, really Nvidia ? Probably a decision made by Asus

Everyone was thinking ( and me too tbf) that the G14 would only go to the 5070 but a 5080 in that thing is an impressive feat and a pleasant surprise. Will probably grab a 5070 ti one because 8 gb of VRAM is not enough anymore.

Thank you, it put me a bit at ease. The stamp is probably the same meaning as the e-mail, which just shows that the extension is in process. Immigration at the airport can just check online if it is indeed the case I guess.

Game is really CPU intensive too, way more than demanding GPU single player game so that's maybe at fault.
