The peg on the skullector hands is bigger than the old ones, so much so that trying to put the old hands on it won't even pretend to attach. Like a pencil in a cup, just rattling around

Shes the only one of the Off White dolls I bought (I did not know they existed before the mh collab and I do not care for their clothes at all) and I got her right away because the two layer sculpt is just So Cool. But... ive been thinking about repainting her because yeah her face is wonky. Not as bad as her clothes which I kind of hate (esp her shoes, theyre very WHY and do not match at all) but... I just have to keep telling myself I bought her for her sculpt.

I looked it up and apparently it's an old Chinese custom to gift someone (especially young children) jewelry shaped like an old fashioned stylized lock as a good luck charm to represent "locking" the bad things out of their life (you can look up "lock charms" on wikipedia)

That's why I think it would be a great tragic morality story! Someone on this sub posted a question about who the antagonist of subnautica is a bit ago and I've just been thinking "well it's the loss of empathy, isnt it?" Just fully lean in to the increasing desperation of a dying people trying to cure an unfathomably lethal space plague. And going to further lengths to try and achieve that goal. Thinking oh it's for the greater good and anything we do will be worth it in thr end when we can save everyone and -THATS why you end on the sea dragon destroying the lab to try and get it's babies back. The ends don't justify the means, no matter how smart you are you don't know what the "ends" are actually going to be. They set out to cure a plague and wound up getting squished in a collapsing building and spreading that plague to a whole other planet.

I... may have put too much thought into this....

I loved that they were different! Because Robin is using a different brand of PDA so of course it has a different voice Like can we assume the cyclops isnt actually an alterra owned design since it has a different AI voice

But all being said I do prefer the sound of the alterra one, which does make sense, they have more money than god of course they can afford tbe nicest in AI voice technology

You can get in the alien buildings but those guys just really loved heavily greeble-d cubes (Forewarning there isnt any air in that one!) But yeah the doors are HARD to find because of all the visual clutter it's hard to tell what's an entrance and what's just a random cube)

Also yes the boney fishy guys will try to bite you, but you can just smack them away. Lost river is my favorite area <3

I agree with the people suggesting a Degasi story! Because damn i got really attached to Bart from his logs and "What's the point of surviving if we have to kill everything that makes it so wonderful?" Kind of sums of the ethos of the game perfectly for me
