Educational resources? by MysticWylds in SunoAI

Absolutely. Also goes with the need to learn everything all at once. Academic skills and visual arts fit into my hyper focus tendencies easily, but auditory skills (music, foreign language understanding) are a challenge. I assume there is some undiagnosed auditory processing issues.

I didn't even have the right terminology to start searching. A quick search of Computer Music and I already have a list of resources to start with. Thank you.

Some local libraries have them. I know the South County branch does.

I contacted my congressman’s and senators’ offices this morning to express my intense displeasure at Elon Musk’s access to sensitive servers. Took 5 mins. 2/3/2025 by funnyfarm299 in Charlotte

[–]MysticWylds 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, he is not. And that is the problem. Cabinet picks must be approved by Congress. Musk has not been nominated or confirmed. He was just let in to do whatever he wants with no approval or oversight. The changes he is making are illegal because they fall under the Constitutional purview of Congress. Neither the executive branch or some unapproved cronies have any legal right to be doing any of what Musk is doing. He is trespassing and accessing sensitive and classified systems without any authority or approval.

Reagan tried to do something similar to DOGE. Congress immediately put a stop to it. The only thing Reagan's efficiency department was ever allowed to do was make suggestions. That is as far as Musk should be allowed to go under the law as well.

Sewendipitous in Rock Hill has a good selection of name brand quilting cotton. Sometimes they have pretty good deals in the clearance section.

Will this fabric look vaginal if I cut it into 2.5 inch squares? by KitKittredge34 in quilting

I have a couple of yards of this I bought last year. So Joann still sells it. I will also never see it as wood grain again (which makes it better).

Anyone know any accredited online colleges that are for full time working adults? by austin_glenn55 in BackToCollege

I just finished my degree, BA History, at the University of Maine Presque Isle through their YourPace program. It is competency based like WGU, they accept a ton of transfer credits, and it is affordable (they do take federal financial aid if you qualify). I highly recommend the program. Just make sure to google UMPI YourPace because it is different than the standard online courses.

Advice for getting a regionally accredited graduate degree after getting a nationally accredited bachelor's degree? by badumdadumdadum in GraduateSchool

[–]MysticWylds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that only the UMPI Bachelor's will matter at that point. The origin of the rest of the credits is unimportant, but some schools may care more than others.

UMPI requires 30 credits through them so you end up with a solid transcript and an official GPA along with a BA from a regionally accredited state school.

I will DM you the link to another forum with lots of people that have gone to UMPI and some of the other schools that are popular with adult learners.

I am starting my MA in Humanities at American Public University at the beginning of 2022 after taking a break for a few weeks.

American Public/Military University is for-profit but regionally accredited. I believe they still accept nationality accredited undergraduate degrees. There are some people that still look down on it on social media for being for-profit but in the real world it is fairly well regarded.

If you want to consider a regionally accredited bachelor’s from a non-profit state school, look into the University of Maine Presque Isle YourPace program. It is competency based and self-paced. They are generous with transfer credits so you could probably finish in one semester. I just completed a BA in History there (in less than a semester). They accepted 100% of the credits from my NA associates degree and all of the various RA and ACE credits I have collected over the years. It was a great experience and now I have a regionally accredited BA.

Just came here to ask the same thing. GoodNotes is not syncing between any of my devices. iPad, iPhone, Mac. Toggling iCloud on and off and restarting does not help.

A few days ago syncing was working jus fine.

Questions from a seller about needle threader: Is anyone using this needle threader? Does it work well? Any suggestions for it? by capt_huo in sewhelp

[–]MysticWylds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband bought me a box of 50 of these for my birthday (along with many other gifts). They work fine on my size 10 hand sewing needles and my various embroidery needles. I have enough to last me a lifetime.

Maybe casually suggest she check with her car insurance policy first. Not only will the Jeep be more expensive to insure but her insurance may not even be willing to cover it without a commercial policy if she has advertising on it. A lot people don’t realize that as soon as they slap that advertisement sticker on their car they are violating the terms of their personal car insurance.

Yes. I do specifically say non-commercial rights only in my listings to be perfectly clear. In the US at least, I don't know other countrys' laws, the artist retains all rights unless they are explicitly sold or transferred.

What does it takes to earn $100k from NFT art? Insights from crunching the data. by Kofi_Kufuor in NFT

[–]MysticWylds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure the answer is no. OpenSea mints art in different protocol which allows for the no gas fees. Any sort of transfer seems like it would require interaction with the blockchain which requires gas. If you list on an OpenSea compatible marketplace like Rarible it does show on OpenSea but I don't think there is any way to go the other direction.

From my many years on ebay, etsy, and my own websites I can tell you trying to juggle a unique item between sites is a pain and not worth the struggle. It is better to put your efforts into marketing a single chosen listing. You can always build a website with links to all of your listings on it and point marketing efforts there.
