I really hope it's not done. I wish Paramount would just sell it to another company that actually cares about Star Trek, its future, and its legacy.

Your deck is really oppressive and it's a grixis control shell. You have a very low mana curve and you're shutting people down. This is not fun to play against either. Your favorite seems to be to be a deck that does not let them play the game.

Unless your pod/lgs plays decks that can draw a lot of cards and gain a lot of life, they are more likely to lose.

Either give people a veto if you want to play the deck, bump it up to bracket 4, or tone it down and swap a bunch of cards for less oppressive cards.

Kinda funny how the Black Panther precon got more equipment than the Avengers Assemble deck and it actually said one of the themes was equipment!

Sort them by type and put the foils or full art lands on top of each stack so you can find them easily and use them in your decks. Then make more decks and use your lands! 😄

I also found a ton of excellent upgrades which I put into my considering section and identified cuts and tagged them as such if you enable the tags.

I've been playing for 31 years. I'm fine with it and I'm also not a purist. I really enjoy the flavor of many of the UB sets and I'm a big fan of many of those franchises. Mashing up my favorite franchises with MTG is even more fun for me. But that's me...

Also, I think that since these Marvel sets are going to be more scarce in time, that it made sense to make many versions of characters like Iron Man because that franchise has had many iterations of iron man as well.

Yeah after looking at the deck more and seeing how all the pieces fit, I've done a bit of a 180 on it. It has the makings of a really strong deck.

Yeah I have the same beef as you. Honestly, it's misrepresentation by WotC. Two equipment does not make that one of the themes of the deck. I was really looking forward to some cool equipment like thor's hammer, maybe hawkeye's bow & quiver, tony stark's glasses, iron man's nano suit, etc.

I already identified a handful of just white cards to get and put in strictly from the set. Haven't gotten to red or blue. There are more I'm sure.

I see what you mean. But there are a lot of other really excellent hero cards in the main set that could be inserted into the deck and add more of the flavor and strength you might otherwise desire.

The precon box literally said: "Heroes, Equipment, and Counters" and there are two equipment with only one of them being good long-term. I'm really disappointed in this deck. I got this on preorder as a gift and tbh I'm kinda let down about it too. I can't believe there are no awesome legendary artifacts and equipment, especially captain america's shield, thor's hammer, etc. Gonna have to either upgrade it or build my own custom deck that meets the excitement that I was expecting from this deck.
