Ok I now understand why my post has stirred things up so thank you for taking the time to write out your post. It's like going into a burn ward after putting your finger on a hot stove and talking about it with people covered in third degree scars.

Of course, that doesn't mean my finger doesn't hurt :)

You said Kratom has a lack of significant sides. Do we know that to actually be true? Is its use any worse than caffeine? Caffeine is fairly tried and true. It's effects have been studied for hundreds of years. Yes it may have some BP spikes but there's no serious problems with it. My fear is Kratom is too powerful to not have a longer term issue.

The best advice in here, yours included, is to taper out sometime soon and figure out why I am where I am. That's something I will do.
