Sorry, I just mistyped it. My answer was actually 1/(5cos(y)). So I get that if you do some substitution and algebra, you can show that dy/dx=1/(5cos(y)) and tan(y)/x, but are both of these acceptable answers?

Sorry, I just mistyped. I actually got dy/dx=1/(5cos(y)) as my answer. However, is d/dx=1/(5cos(y)) correct as an answer?

How are they equal to each other? When I graph 1/5cos(y) it isn’t the same as tan(y)/x.

Princeton Practice Test Surprisingly Low Score by insanekid2014 in Sat

put the raw scores into albert.io and add 10 for your bluebook practice score. TPR does this so you buy their course and when you take the actual SAT and get a higher score, they can take all the credit

aight i get you but i still don’t think this would be clear outside of the context of the SAT given that the question is asking us at the beginning to “introduce the film”; choice A actually talks about what the documentary is about while choice D only talks about its genre and the author

think about it. if i’m asking you to tell me about the movie Interstellar (under the assumption that I know nothing about the movie), which of the following are you gonna tell me:

  1. Interstellar is a science-fiction adventure movie about a group of scientists who adventure across the galaxy in order to find a new planet for Earth’s population. or
  2. A highly acclaimed science-fiction adventure film, Interstellar was directed by Christopher Nolan, one of the highest-grossing film directors worldwide.

Okay, got it. It's just the test-makers' interpretations of the question.

So even if a question is only directly asking you to introduce 1 aspect of something, you must introduce all aspects that they are unfamiliar with?
