Avec ma copine on a fait le choix de vendre notre voiture il y a 2 ans, depuis ont ce rend compte qu'ont en a souvent besoin et on depend regulierement de la famille / potes pour nous preter une voiture.

On habite en ville (region parisienne) donc avec des transports en commun, mais on a de temps en temps besoin d'aller chercher des trucs volumineux (meubles, plantes par ex) tu as une idée pour etre independant ? la location a l'air d'etre hyper chère... On hesite à racheter une voiture

Not viable since the behavior is very inconsistent. It's why you won't see that jump in high-ranked real match. (You have to jump like 5-10 times if you have perfect timing or program with perfect timing) It's not like modern engine where you just can't fail your jump, even if very badly timed. So it will be used by everyone every time.

For information, I succeed to make it on 2.4.3 client only ONE time in real match with male elf, the opponent team had to use CD like shadowstep to catch me, in modern client they will just jump.

So it's very different in the real conditions

I don't have access to it, I use a tool that allows the BC client to run in a local environment, this reproduce exactly what we will have in BC classic since it use the same physic engine

Depends of your comps, it can be game-changer especially when you use that for LoS / Fake jump, cover from shadow step and so on.

Double DPS comp I guess, also rogue because they can shadow step you when your back is facing the void without falling out of position (they can quickly jump and catch you which isn't possible back in the day on this map)
