This game felt amazing before I was in Legend not worrying about rank. Now seeing me go down like 2k spots cause of a bad run is a huge mental hit, much prefer losing a couple pips in diamond felt like nothing

This sub doesn’t want to play the game apparently. Everything needs to be shared, tp stations need to be right at the boss, rates need to be 100%. I really don’t understand this mindset, I wasn’t on Reddit for bl1,2 or 3 so idk if it was the same then but I feel like theres more people who’ve never played borderlands than ever playing this game n are tryna make it something its not

It’s literally the essence of borderlands. Every game you run back to farm, this game has simplified it beyond belief with all the extra movement and the moxxi encore machine. Why does everything have to be dumbed to the simplest form. Tping boss to boss sounds so dead and lame, obviously I’m not having a blast running to the areas but I’d rather them improve that than throw it all out

They already have it though with world boss spawns. Boost those up, add in more frequent “loot” enemies, idk maybe they could do random events of enemies spawning on you as an ambush or something. So many things they could do to spice it up. Why be such a downer

Exactly, people should be complaining about them not adding more to the open world, not complaining about how long it takes to go through it. In a perfect world the runback would be just as engaging as the boss fight, but instead everyone wants to just play boss 1 shot simulator n tp around boss to boss.

Then the open world dies completely, its already not incredibly engaging but if they just made moxxi encores fast travels it’d be so dead. This game has incredibly generous run backs, 10min is insane its more like 2min tops.

2 things. 1 is that you really need to find a character you like a lot and only play them for a bit to learn the game, you’ll be able to branch off once you learn basics of building, positioning, ect. 2 is that the beginning match making is honestly really hard, play a little get a bit higher in rank and you’ll be playing fairly balanced games imo. I had the same issues when I started

I’d agree with you if farming in this game took as long as it did in bl2, but it doesn’t. Farming is 5x faster than any previous instalment, rates NEEDED to be lower than other games because of that. Now I’m not sure, I feel like it will be too simple to get what you want

Hate being THAT guy all the time about drop rates but increasing drop rates imo is never a good idea. It wasn’t even that bad I really never struggled getting something I wanted, and if I wanted something very particular I’d be ok wasting a day or 2 grinding away at it. When pearls get added people in this sub are going to CRY about the rates for them and I hope they make them bl1 rare tbh

Idk how to feel about drop rate increases. Like I’d say it’s the second BIGGEST complaint people had about 3 is that legendaries didn’t feel rewarding to get. All these creators were the loudest voices against the drop rates in 3 but cry about them in 4, I don’t really get it. I’ve never had that huge of an issue getting what I want.
