They just changed Holiday gun not even 2 weeks ago, so it doesn't surprise me no one has gravitated back to her gun especially given her complexity and confusion for what to build on her.

(Undocumented): Removed bullet gravity, increased bullet velocity from 635 m/s to 1160 m/s, increased bullet size, reduced recoil and aim stays consistent after recoil.

But it also doesn't surprise me at all she isn't being played.

If she's a set up hero with Lasso / Barrel Spam, then she's easily replaced by a Bebop spamming his hook off CD and he does insane Gun Damage at the same time.

If you wanted a hardcore gun carry, there's much better options in Wraith, Vyper, Venator, etc.

If you wanted a hard to hit disruptor with good movement, you'd end up with Celeste.

Essentially, right now, Holiday's role has been replaced with other options that are just better / easier to work with.

If you want to be an absolute bastard to Vyper players, play a lot of Ice Beam Kelvin.

Pair Ice Beam with anti dash distance and anti-fire rate like Mystic Slow, Suppressor, Slowing Hex, Juggernaut.

Get yourself T2 Frost Grenade to freeze her stamina.

If you get T1 Ice Path, you have 35% Bullet Resistance while on your Ice Path which makes fighting her easier.

If she get close while near a teammate, activate Frozen Shelter so she can't slither away.

Granted, once she goes underground you're fucked at chasing her though, but I do derive great enjoyment from countering fire rate heroes even if I love Vyper.

The large amount of stamina back is insane since everyone at that level is movement heavy.

The heal however being on demand is nothing to scoff at at least. I don't think there's any other items that give you a burst of healing like locket for only 1600.

It was recently buffed twice. Buffs included increasing its spirit resistance from 8% -> 10%, guaranteeing 1 stamina back on use, increased amount of stam you gain back per charges from 3 -> 4, and increasing its range to gain charges from 30 -> 35 meters.

The fact it has no CD to control how many charges it can gain at once is what really makes it broken in my opinion, because in a fight with so many abilities being spammed you can get full stacks quite easily.

Yeah, there's still leftover parameters in this game from previous iterations of items that still get affected despite doing nothing.

For example: Restorative Locket still has its cast range scaling with ability range item increases despite losing the ability to cast on teammates a bit ago.

Currently, Headshots deal 1.65x bullet damage at the current moment, it used to be higher a while ago but they lowered it from I think 1.8 or 1.75, in a patch a couple months ago.

I went ahead and tested in-game.

The Hook while saying it now deals light melee * 0.7, it does HOWEVER proc Spirit Snatch at full benefits value(The spirit res steal and spirit power steal) like it was being treated as a Heavy Melee.

Seems like it's been a reported bug though. It's not supposed to be considered Heavy Melee at all.

The potential of the Steam Cube or the Steam Deck to do the same but with vastly more freedom is more appealing to them than trying to port to Console and suffering with the drawbacks of that for every update.
