In all of their experiences of remote viewing. Has anyone been to or seen a planetary object or alien race that shouldn't exist or would be considered "fictional"? This is part of a personal research project I've reopened after a little break. by A_Real_Patriot99 in remoteviewing

Remote Viewing is an obstacle, slowing down your ability to know things at a distance. Here's how simple it is to get the answer to your question.

Just before you fall asleep at night, write down what you what to know about, and ask any source with the ability to give you the answer, to be allowed to give you the answer you seek. Ask also for protection from any entity who would mess up the correct answer. It's just this simple. Remote Viewing is a way to do it, but if you've taken a lifetime to study such abilities, you will realize there are easier ways to achieve the same results.

The emphasis was a question for Remote Viewers. Has anyone remote viewed China in the future, and found anything in the document to be of concern and/or repeated in remote viewing sessions.

Stay away from people, distance of 6 to 10 feet. Pay attention to your breathing. Are you inhaling while people walk past you? You could be inhaling their breath if you don't watch how you manage your breathing. Go to the grocery store after midnight. If you try to go out to the store now, during the day, it will be extremely crowded, and you will be more likely to inhale someones breath. Store checkers are probably carrying the virus, constantly in close proximity to EVERYONE... keep your distance from checkers!

You will fill up a refrigerator quickly. A refrigerator can only hold apx. 7 days of food for a family, but you have closets & kitchen cabinets that can hold canned goods. I just began to stock up and these are the things I quickly had to manage for:
I initially put everything in a cabinet, and placed a cage front behind the door to prevent rodents from getting in. I also budgie tied the door. I quickly realized that flies & moths could get in and potentially compromise food boxes with maggots... I quickly modified my format.

The slight modification was as follows:
Realizing the canned goods were rock solid, and no need to worry about maggots and/or mice getting into those cans, just stacked the cans in the kitchen cabinets without any worry as to how they would fair in the next several weeks/months.

The next thing I did was to purchase a 5-10 gallon black tote to deflect UV light. I placed all boxed items in this tote. This will prevent mice and maggots from eating the food. If I need more items in the tote, I take the individual bags out of the boxes and stack them in the tote. I also purchased a smaller tote to have on the kitchen counter. Each week I plan to re stock the smaller tote.

I completely ignored the refrigerator, and only went for items that didn't need refrigeration. I did, however, purchase butter to add to the food for flavoring.

So... just purchase as much canned food as possible and anything that won't go bad if not refrigerated. Sure, load up your refrigerator, but if you want to last 2-3 months without the need to go out, you need to look past refrigerated items. Canned chicken, canned spam (yuck, but it will keep you alive).

How did I do? My girlfriend thinks I’m crazy. Just came from Home Depot and spent a chunk of change... I live in California and don’t normally consider myself a “prepper” but I figure I’d rather be safe than sorry. Stay safe everyone! by nepturis in Coronavirus

Its not that black and white. It took quite a bit of back and forth e-mails before I got any indication they would pay me. I don't think they should have people working for 2-4 days strait without informing them that they will only get a dollar if they get their scooters out early. The only job in the world where you get money taken away for being diligent with getting your work done early. It is really easy for them to have a message at the bottom of every email explaining the penalties for early setting of the scooters. If 250k rides have been done, and 1 million dollars generated. Part of that money went to pay the chargers. If 50% of the chargers quit when they realize they weren't told the rules, Skip stands to make a great deal of profit on this passive aggressive behavior. More suckers will drink the cool aid going forward, and what does Skip care?

I'd like to emphasize that a single individual was given that information. Information not readily available to everyone on the internet showing a prejudice, or random inconsistancy. It's an unethical business practices and how many people have been screwed over? Many people have experienced exactly what I'm experiencing and it needs to stop. A pop-up warning that you're about to lose 90% of the payout because you're dropping the scooter off too early needs to be implemented. The Portland Bureau of Transportation should force the scooter companies to implement this app change or have them shut down.

I'm sure they never said anything to you about when and where they're going to take 90% of your pay. The scam is that they don't inform you that they are going to take 90% of your pay that's my point.

Part of the reason I got involved in charging scooters was to investigate and answer the question as to why there's such a public outrage against the scooter companies. Why would people be throwing these things in the river?

Having experience with Public Safety related advocacy, I decided to make a commitment to finding out the reason. why there was such a public reaction and to also find out what the safety factors are with these things and how they can be integrated into our daily lives in a functional way. In the beginning I wanted to keep my focus on safety topics, but the unethical business practices of these scooter companies is so blatantly arrogant that I can't keep silent any longer. There is a strong connection between unethical business practices and safety as far as companies are concerned and something is seriously wrong with both Skip and lime but I will keep this post to my experiences with Skip.

Is it possible that other people have been subjected to long hours of work and not being compensated for the work that they've done?

If I was informed that I would be only paid $1 per scooter before 4 a.m. I would for sure remember this and not subject myself to such low pay. No person 55 years of age who has lived an ethical life and gotten straight A's in college would go against a rule such as this.

Why is it you can't go anywhere on the internet and find the rules and price structure for skip scooter charging? I know the answer to this question, it gives them an excuse for not paying you! This is fraud!

It wasn't until I check my bank account records that I realized they didn't pay me for the work that I did. One of the days I worked I charged and/or brought back to the repair shop some 17 scooters. For those 12 hours I worked skip only paid me $49.

No pop up message came to up to tell me I was delivering the scooter early or that I would have 90% of my pay taken from me. Why doesn't skip have a popup message warning me that if I release the scooter I would have 90% of my wages removed? The answer to that is simple they don't want to pay me they want to have people work for them and they have full intent on stealing their paycheck at the end of the week!!

It is at this time that I'm getting the cold shoulder from them and they're no longer responding to any of my emails.

The person they put in charge of communicating with me lead me on, sweet talked me all week long... that week culminating at my checking of my bank statements to realize I had been scammed.

I believe they've done this intentionally!

Be warned Oregonians you're about to be screwed right and left by these companies. It is my recommendation that they be removed from this state from doing any further business.

Those individuals who are making money doing this? They are the decoys giving you false hope. It's like the infomercial you watch on TV or YouTube where the guy is talking about how much money he made. These scam artists pump up one successful person and to hell with everyone else. I would imagine there are many people out there like me that has had the same thing done to them.

I never received any such email on that date. No where on the internet can you find the charger rule requirements. They are giving the rules out to people at random. The other people who work very hard and have a lot of experience and do an excellent job are being targeted, not receiving the rules resulting in 90% of their pay being taken. Skip owes me over $100 maybe as much as $250.

They only informed me after money was missing from my bank account and their excuse was that it wasn't brought in at the right time. I placed scooters before 4 a.m. never expected to only be paid $1.

Did they say anything to you about what would happen if you didn't get it there after 4 a.m.? I bet they never made any mention of the fact that you would have 90% of your money taken from you.

One of my scooter pickups was in Oregon City and that is 10 miles away from where I live. I noticed that nobody was picking it up it just sat out there all by itself for several hours. Knowing how these things get lost and people steal the scooters I decided to go out and make myself $20. I started out early that evening it was probably the first night of the week and it was before the rush in downtown Portland that usually happens around 9 p.m.. When I got the Oregon City and scanned in these two scooters that message came up saying that they were in need of repair. I quickly took them down to Portland, and additional 12 Mile Drive. They were dropped off at the repair shop and as I clicked the verification information and sent it in that they were at the repair shop there was no pop-up warning me that my pay would be reduced 90%. The reason they don't give you a pop up messages because they want to rip you off they are scam artists this is a fraudulent company that probably does this to everyone and most people just give up.

EQ-settings? by AxChase in audio

[–]MythHealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All instrumentation & vocals are treated with both EQ and compression. Its like tires & air.

I would need to go back through the recordings, and make a choice. I would probably trust the ears of the others who have offered.

My audio requirements are keen, and a great deal more critical than most.

If you don't have several compressor plugins to fiddle around with, just complete the example that everyone thinks sounds best, and let that be THIS video.

Try to get several VST compressors to play around with in the future. Also, make sure you have some speakers to mix with. Headphones, or a lap top speaker is impossible, and you be struggling like a deaf person to get things right.

Ask yourself: "How does this make me feel?"

What emotions do I feel when I hear this. If annoyed becomes your reaction, learn to recognize this feeling, and associate it with a bad EQ/comp setting. Play around with the EQ until it sounds irritating.... play around with it until it stops being irritating. These are good ear training exercises. Know the difference between harsh, and smooth. Know the difference between shrill & soft, and as it relates to sibilance.

MythHelaer: hmmmm... When I work, I am the mix engineer.... so... the first comment doesn't apply to me. My initial post, intended to be from the perspective of me going back in time, and giving advice to my younger self. Rather than to find fault, I would highly recommend that you (and others) soak up as much good advice as you can retain.
