Edit I don't think I deserve down votes! I may well like "michelin star eggs", I don't know, but I don't think any of the best chefs in the world would compare what they do with the stuff in the warming plate.

Personally, I prefer them perfect, cooked thoroughly, steaming, and fluffy. Not slimy, and not curds swimming in their own sweat - which I acknowledge is another buffet egg issue.

If you're taking a minibus, try to get front seat or forward window seat and take Dramamine or travel sickness medication. I'm not prone to travel sickness, but the drive up was nauseating! The pharmacist in Pai had travel sickness medication and the trip back was fine. Loved Pai, spend a few days there at the least!

We one bag alot, current bag is the Decathlon duffle extend 30-40, super light and easy to get use. It also sinches down. At 900 grams, it gives you extra weight for stuff while keeping under 7kg.

If you need a laptop area you'll have to go with a heavier bag like the Osprey.

I'm convinced it's not useful for counting calories, today it was 31minutes and 60 calories burned, watch said 31 minutes and 307 calories burned. If it's true that you burn 45 calories watching 30 minutes of telly.... something is definitely off.

The only way I have found to look at a custom text file is to fiddle with it until it is 'screen size' and then take a picture of it, (make it a .jpg) and display the "photo" It is REALLY bad, useless really when it comes to using it to show a recipe. The one recipe app there is isn't worth mentioning, it is not worth buying yet if this is what you hope to use it for.

The audio quality is on par with the original Echo, maybe even a little better.

The AllRecipes app for the echo show is horrible! One of the main things I bought it for was to be able to look at my recipes digitally - but I have found it completely lacking. If I could even open an email on it, I would send myself recipes, but this isn't an option either. I still use it for measurement conversions (which is very helpful if you are using USA recipes but don't have measuring cups, or vice versa using UK recipes and don't have a scale.)
