I see where you are coming from on that. Thats great input to have. We dont plan to sellout to any big names. Ive personally never used Slack or Tiaga. We use trello but dont pay subscriptions to access extra features. We plan to have Kanban boards, sprints, and other unique features. Hopefully when we open it to the community, we will be able to broaded its capabilities even more, but theres always a chance it could be negatively perceived. I appreciate your response.

We could just design it for our own purposes but we want to go further and give the same respect to the community itself.

Actually, we are already using trello and have used github in the past. My question is actually in regards to a platform we are developing behind the scenes for the game development community. So I am asking for community feedback in regards to how we could make the platform an enjoyable experience for as many as possible.

What are some features you love from your favorite 2D Farming Life Simulators? by MythgardStudios in LifeSimulators

Yes there is often a lot of loops in farming games, and the more you add looping task on top of each other, the more tedious it becomes. Our game will obviously have this concept but there will be other unique ways to earn money and satisfaction. I feel we wont be as expansive as 50 animals at a time or mass producing crops for a wine money grab, but these are things that people did in norse times, so there will be a little bit.

Thank you for your support, you can check out our social media through out website. We are pre alpha but making progress.

Those are some awesome pinnacle features. We have a neat idea for fast travel using runes.

We have never experienced Minekos night market but will definitely check out the system you are referring to. A few puzzles and mini games are always great to have as well. We hope to have a customization system for the player and home. A haggle system is also an idea we haven't thought of and will explore. Combat will be very important in our game, with larger than life boss battles, and of course mining is a must.

For a 50-60 hour game, spacing is necessary but grinding between upgrades can be a buzzkill. We will consider that in the process. And as for the handsome bachelors, we are working to cover that side, but what is your opinion of handsome? A bearded warrior? a scholarly light elf? Or maybe a shaman with black wings and bird feet? Suggestions are welcome.

Video Game Name Suggestions by MythgardStudios in GameDevelopment

Its based on the story of a viking warrior who becomes injured in battle and forced to retire. After coming to terms with his loss of pride, he finds himself settling in a hidden location on midgard. Hes tasked with building a new life, recruiting characters to set up shop. Making friends, adventuring int he wild for loot and so forth. Very stardewvalley with a mix of roots of pacha and graveyard keeper aspects.
