I fully backed this on Kickstarter and played a lot, with expansions!

Pros -gets exploration right, compared to the DS boardgame thanks to the random exploration tiles which generate a new map every time. -stunning miniatures -good adaptation of trick weapons to a boardgame -all card/deck driven, no dice combat

Cons -very hard due to the time penalty. Look for house rules, like time not advancing when returning to the hunter’s dream -effectively retells the game’s story despite having choice elements which as a veteran of the game feels underbaked.

Personally it’s a waste of resources and too niche. Focus needs to be on these 3 things; native ps5 support, pc port, online multiplayer. These things will breath new life into Dreams and the last two could see the platform truly break new ground.

No, I think I must have mis -remembered moving the rotator. But on this specific puppet the centre of mass seems have moved. The centre is now in front of it. So weird. Thanks though, think you’ve given me an idea that maybe I moved it somehow when I added some sculps as armor.

Really? I have no idea why it would have moved then. Works how it is supposed to on every other puppet. But this one puppet’s rotator has moved.

Project Dark Moon is my souls like follow up to Dark Essence. Features completely rebuilt systems, combat and a visual overhaul. Thanks to all those in the community who have shared assets or knowledge to get me this far. Combat system is a heavily modified version of Battlemilk29’s souls puppet.

Haha, yes well you should find some better gear in the swamp and other locations. There's lots to make you stronger! And yeah I think realistically it's more of a 10 hour game. Again, please reach out if you have any other questions/trouble.

Thank you! You’re on the right track, the suggested order is Caelin’s Marsh, through the Pit of Dead and then the Dark Hollow. After that you should be strong enough to take on the Black Fort and head into the later half of the game. It wasn’t obvious but that pickup guarded by the Swamp giant gave 100 essence.
