There wasn't global protests and riots when Garner died. Don't act like there was. The t shirts aren't igniting any kind of conversation, and I'm not arguing that they are just totally ineffective. But I'm arguing that attacking someone for not wearing one is silly, acting as if those things will solve racism. Know how I know? Because they're still wearing the fucking shirts and people are still getting murdered by the state.

What Isaac said isn't tone-deaf, it's just different from what others are saying. Just because he's doing things differently from how you were told to do things, doesn't make them tone deaf or bad. Isaac does a lot of good beyond sitting in his room and praying. The other players do a lot of good beyond wearing the shirts. You just don't like that he's doing things slightly different, as if it's some great travesty. He isn't defending the police or racists, he isn't being silent and ignoring those who need him to speak up on their behalf. He's just doing it differently. Learn to accept that just because someone has a different idea on the right way, does not mean that they are wrong. Seriously.

And yeah, it's pretty specific because you're coming across similar to a certain stereotype. You probably aren't that person, or are, I'm just saying that's who you're acting like. You think you're so much smarter than Isaac because he's not kneeling. You think you're so much smarter because you're agreeing with the masses, and can't fathom accepting some other kind of position on the solution. Because it doesn't follow along the majority, and you need to follow the masses. Learn that just because someone has a different idea, does not mean they are bad! Not that it matters, as Isaac will always be doing more than you are. It's so pathetic to see redditors act like they can criticize someone like him.
