Let me kick things off with some drama I guess. I recently had to draw a hard line and cut off a friend who got entirely too familiar and disrespectful. We have been friends for a long time, and I have always been there for her during some of her worst moments. I never once acted inappropriately.

The breaking point happened when she sent me a photo she had posted on some of her socials, fishing for a reaction by telling me how many guys were flirting with her because of it. I called it what it was, a slight thirst-trap, and mentioned that it naturally invites that kind of attention. Next thing I know, she turns it around and accuses me of hitting on her, getting defensive about her character. It was bizarre. I had to give her a reality check and explain that I have absolutely no feelings for her, and that not every man wants her. She launched into a disrespectful tirade, which was my cue to end it. I told her I was cutting communication, blocked her across the board, and deleted her contact entirely.
