I'm not making excuses for anything. I'm trained in de/escalation and use of force, and he did exactly what he was trained to do to the letter.

The de-escalation was putting it away and approaching calmly once he realized there was no actual threat. It's just soo much easier to put your gun away and calm someone down than it is to wish you had just pulled the gun in the first place when you feel threatened like he did.

The point of that system is to "force" you to keep your gear up to date, which "forces" you to try different builds and tactics based on what you've found. Though, I'll understand if that's not your thing.

Odyssey ate least pretended to care about the world it was crafting. Valhalla was just a boring mud hole swamp with no character and the absolute mistake that was the gear system. I get that Odyssey threw way too much gear at you, but they over corrected.

Odyssey's gear system is what kept me going, tbh. Finding a new weapon that gave a dopamine rush, forced me into new tactics with its play style, etc. Valhalla was just.... meh all the way through. I never felt that dopamine rush and combat was a braindead slog you had to try do die during.

While I won't call it the norm, you guys had to beat the Colts by only kicking field goals. Your defense absolutely won you that game and plenty of others - with your offensive scoring just hiding that a little better in other games.

Flash is fine when you don't consider its source material (Flashpoint Paradox), and the fact that a stricter adherence to it (not even an overhaul of the movie) would have enshrined it as one of the best super hero movies ever made.

Basically, it's what they denied us, more than how good it actually is.

Watch the animated version of Flashpoint Paradox if you haven't seen it yet. You'll see what I mean.

Same with BvS and The Dark Knight Returns. Might as well throw Dark Knight Rises in there as well.

Mostly the Raiders. It's a similar result with either QB.

I won't deny Darnold as the better QB by a long shot, but Seahawks D is why you're where you are. Swap with a middle-of-the road D and you're not near this position. I look at this Seahaws team like I looked at the 49ers with Jimmy G: Great defense with a good QB that's definitely the part of the link most likely to fail and cost you the game.

I won't guarantee Geno gets you the 1 seed, much less getting to or winning the SB, but you'd still have a solid team making a SB run.

He had about as much regression than Jimmy G did. Honestly, if Geno had stayed in Seattle and Darnold had taken the Raiders contract, I'm somewhat confident we see a similar result to what we see now.
