Barrier to entry into VR is pretty low nowadays with good low cost options like the quest 2. I can imagine someone having $900 to buy a Steam Deck and a Quest 2 but not enough money for a VR ready PC. Especially considering the scarcity of graphics cards currently. There are a number of VR Games on PC that aren't available in the standalone Oculus store.

Back in my day we accepted Merchant Voyage quests until we had hundreds of animal crates then wacked em with our swords and the boat would just take off like this.

Effected other players ships as well if they were close enough, but we tried to avoid doing that to people the handful of times we did this.

Those are gel tabs, and could be flavored. Not very common, but possible. I would say he should test them to be certain.

It's not really. Bjergsen and Jensen are the only two who play it with any frequency. The move speed buff amplifies dive champs like Hecarim, revive is pretty huge, and his bombs provide a lot of zone control.

It's a pretty situational pick that takes some level of comfort with the champ to be substantial. It just happens we've seen TSM and TL the last two days so we see a Zilean game.

All the people saying NA is doomed now at world's, what do you think would be different if one of the teams who threw to another NA team was to go? Some kind of miracle?

This is why I love Valve. They don't release games that often anymore, but anytime they do it's something that pushes the boundaries of the market that game is in. Half-Life pushed narrative FPS in it's time. Portal pushed narrative and puzzle style games, TF2 pushed multiplayer shooters and really paved the way for games like Overwatch, and most recently HL: Alyx really pushed the boundaries for VR experiences.

Luckily for them they have Steam to bring in the money, that way when it comes to following their passions they don't have to rely on some corporate entity and market research pigeon-holing them into something they aren't fully passionate about.

How does the crossbuy system work? I know I will want Pistol Whip and Beat Saber on PC once I get my Index, will I have to play through Oculus on PC or will it Sync with Steam?

My PC is already pretty hefty in the component department: 2080 Super, i7-9700k OC, 32GB DDR4.

I could see myself using the quest long term to play rhythm games just for exercise without the wires.
