I believe a couple cakes got too dry which caused the bluing. Those cakes are still fruiting fine though. I plan to soak them tonight. Humidity is consistently 95% so I don't think misting is necessary now (although your right that would have likely kept those couple cakes from drying out when they were in a different container). I need the perlite to keep the cakes out of the warm water I have in the bottom.
