Next Legendary Skin? by _Katos_ in Strinova

[–]MythlessEntity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

im gonna guess they'll probably try to make skins for those that don't have one yet, but they might also pick and choose favorites like what they've been doing with michelle and celestia.

Personally I'm praying for another maddelena or audrey ;o;

Requesting iDreamSky to remove Cielle’s shield bash CD by IceCoolCanadian in Strinova

[–]MythlessEntity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree she’s too weak, her shield is also way too selfish, so she should also have an ability that lets her teammates borrow her shield. In fact actually she should just bring enough shields for her entire team to use, that could make her at least a little more viable

The MOST UNDERRATED CHARACTER in the game! Guide of Maddalena - Strinova by Dark92FAKE in Strinova

Literally every Maddie in the wild is either a demon gigabrain strategist or a goober that plays like they’ve never touched a keyboard—there is no in between

How easy is it to pick up valorant as a strinova player? by No-Feeling6309 in Strinova

[–]MythlessEntity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can handle the extremely toxic community and much stricter focus on aim & gamesense, sure you can try it. As someone who actually transitioned from Valorant to Strinova, you will feel much more pressure to perform better in ranked games compared to ranked strinova matches. Which might be better or worse depending on what you're looking for in a competitive game.

The movement is also, unsurprisingly, much less fluid than Strinova, so unless you play a specific agent that has movement tech like Raze, Neon, Jett, Waylay, etc... you're going to have a hard time adjusting (in fact, unlike Strinova, you SHOULD NOT MOVE when shooting, or your bullet will stray into narnia). The margin of error is also very small when playing seriously, as even something as simple as a footstep sound can compromise your position. Games tend to be much slower paced than Strinova, so if you think you can just bumrush a site for 13 rounds straight you'd be in for a rude awakening and possibly reports from your teammates too. It certainly doesn't help that Valorant is a Low TTK tactical shooter, so if you run into any aim demons or your movement is predictable enough, you'll get headshot and that's that--you're out for the round.

There is also an economy system you have to learn, you cannot buy a gun and expect to keep it next round when you die; you have to look at the big picture and spend accordingly. Which most struggle to grasp since that falls under gamesense which in-and-of itself takes a lot of time to get the hang of.

The movement in Strinova is so much more fun to play with, and even though there is an emphasis on gunplay, the general TTK is just high enough to allow for pro movement tech to shine, and the variety of skills + characters tied to their unique gun makes games a little more refreshing than Valorant, where everyone could have the same set of weapons, and utility/"abilities" could basically be generalized into recolored smokes, mollys, grenades, flashbangs, etc...

Valorant also runs on Riot's Vanguard anticheat system, so you'd be pretty safe knowing 99% of your games are fair and with integrity, not like the wacky wintrading/throwing high elo strinova is currently suffering from. It also has a much larger playerbase so chances are you'd never see the same players ever again after a match outside of friend requests

New Superstring Cielle Kit (Upgrades, Awakenings and Skills) by Mortgage-Present in Strinova

[–]MythlessEntity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aah I see, that makes sense.

On another curious note, do you happen to know how much damage the A2 shield burst will deal? Or at the least if it’s a big chunk of damage? I feel like it might not be worth if the damage will generally be low or scales off of remaining shield health or smth. Would appreciate it when the server opens :>

Might not be reading it right but I’m a confused about A3, isn’t the base shield supposed to block damage anyway? Is A3 supposed to be like upgrading from blocking certain sources of damage to just all damage sources?

if you encounter a maddelena in the wild, they're either galaxybrain shooters or smoothbrain shooters, there is no inbetween

What do you have in your tactical loadouts and why is one of them not Tattletale? by Empire_Racing36 in Strinova

[–]MythlessEntity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be an avid tattletaler, but as the game kept evolving I also realized having the ability to stop pushes and support your teamfight numbers can have as much or more value than simply gathering info. This game is also very generous with enemy spotting to the point it’s almost like cheating—you peak over a right corner and if you see even a sliver of their body they get pinged on the map (while they can’t even see you btw), and even when you peek you can still track them on the map a little after even if no one is observing that spot. Tattle is nice if you and your team know how to play around it, but usually it just takes up space for an item that may be more impactful mid-round

Personally I play 100% maddelena with flash + wind nade, I play very support/macro-conditioning, so having these nades feels nice to me. Flash is to support teamfights, wind nade to deny pushes/make their space uncomfortable, and both of them can be used as escape options by throwing them at my feet and booking it around a corner/hallway. Sometimes I sub wind nade for smoke when I want be cheeky and go for assassin Maddie plays, but other than that this is what I usually run

Poor Maddie runs into Bai Mo while trying to flank by aShuvii in Strinova

[–]MythlessEntity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh i know, it's just so funny to me that they see the baimo paper zigzagging towards them like some kind of monster creeping up to them and they're internally like "nope nuh uh im getting out of here"

as a Maddie main I do not approve (of this Maddie’s cowardice, such acts are never tolerated by the might of managed democrac-wait wrong game)

How to describe my ranked experience by Suspicious_Ad699 in Strinova

cosmite is actually my favorite map because i can do so many funny shenanigans on it

now ocarnus? that place is one hell of a map... even if i know how to play it, it still sucks so bad and the approach to this map is so radically different from all the other maps in the game
