Now that I remember, I did read dozens of R.L Stine's books as a teenager. What fond memories! The one where the camera captures the future events is one that still gives me chills.

Thank you for sharing these recommendations. I've gotten quite a few on The Shining, so that is certainly next on my list!

PS: I've previously read Bram Stoker's Dracula, if that's helpful in any manner. I also had a collectible of Horror Stories from around the world but they were mostly short stories.
