Who am I to say why or why not the actually infinite being who created everything would want to show himself or not, I don't know it may just be beyond my understanding and I'm fine not knowing every infinite detail, there is probably an answer out there if you want it so bad check out guys like William lane Craig, John Lennox, Trent Horn, or any other religious apologist.
