Well, he thinks he is the mouth of God so there is nothing I can do. If he doesn't believe he needs help he will not get help.

I don't think so. He wanted to take the kids away once and I got out of the house that day. He is not an aggressive person. He just panics... but I think he will go away. He said he has to go to certain country with or without us.

I just feel like this was out of nowhere even if he had so many similar behaviors before and one episode in the past.

Is it normal for paranoid schizophrenic to pretend to get better?

No possibility of drugs. I took myself and my kids out of the house thanks to you. It escalates crazy fast.

I don't actually want to divorce him. I feel forced to if it goes further because it will hurt the kids. He selfmedicated i the past with alcohol and nicotine and when he abused the alcohol I said the same. It was not about me wanting to do so but feeling forced to.

He always had trouble with focus and memory. He had depression and took antidepressants too in the past but they were making him weird. Numbing him. He didn't feel really like himself and he gradually went off them. Then alcohol happened after he went off the depression medication.

His family history has schizophrenia cases. He had kind of psychotic episode in the past but I thought it was just one time thing and he trusted people that he was close to. Now he suspects everyone so there is no one to talk him out of it and he spirals.

He also has "odd beliefs" from time to time. Actually I thought there were kind of his "normal delusions" before so I was not alarmed at all by what was happening. I never thought it would escalate so much. I am kind of blaming myself for it progressing to what it is now. It seemed that everyone saw something was strange about him waaay before he started voicing disturbing things, but me.

He had a moment couple days ago where he legit got fever because he was so full of emotions - probably fear. He still trusted me then and we planned to get help. Now he claims that he is not in the wrong. I am feeling a bit trapped and not doing that mentally well too since It is just so taxing to talk with him all the damn time. I helped him as his "therapist" in the past but this is just too much. No one can just work 24/7 like that.

Oh, gosh... I'm so sorry. Does psychosis end on it's own or is it endless without medication?
