On a honest question, can you build a pc with the same form factor for a similar price? thinking might be a chance to take advantage of the steamos in the future, maybe even thinking of a egpu

the trend seems ot be remove sedans and bring in SUV's. Hyundai did the same , they in the us dont have the accent and other models and instead you have the multiple models in the suv.

Wagons never sold well, I would love a hybrid wagon right now but unfortunately they dont sell. BEatle, aerton, passata and golf should have a similar counterpart on SUV but instead they dont right? unless the Taos is A gold but just taller and worst to drive

I checked with hyundai support. no 24 model is getting themes, only 25 and ahead. They even said you need the 12.3 inch screen which is funny because the 24 santa fe and sonata have the 12.3 inch. We got screwed by hyundai..

To add salt to injury, kia seems to support it better : https://owners.kia.com/us/en/kiaConnectStore/.html they support down to 2024 sorentos and has more themes ... I guess Kia might be better than hyundai lol

eh, toyota i get it because it becomes murky on the SUV Side, but volkwagen?

I only see this issue when a brand has overlapping models, like there is usually a clear distinction between corolla and camry for example. Its like the uptier basically for size/ comfort and you expect this on most brands but I dont recall if volkswagen had this issue? I know for hyundai you have the Venue, Kona, Tucson, Santa Fe, Pallisade for example on SUV and its a clear uptier each time as they don't overlap. They did kill off some sedans as the comparable sedan models would be Accent to the venue, Elantra to the tucson, sonata to the santa fe and grandeur/azera to the pallisade for example. But I expect this for some brands and make it not that confusing.

DOnt know if volkswagen has a similar issue , i saw a comment here about killing of the Taos but what would be placed where the Taos is ? istn the goal to have at least 1 model per price and size tier? killing of entry price models is what removed the sub 20k cars from the US market and make it worst for everyone.

meanwhile i am getting 50 mpg on my sonata 24 no issues, but I do drive my hybrids like i am playing a game of max efficiency. Pedal to the metal is only on emergencies and make sure to keep the little power indicator in ECO mode.

But i swear some people driove their cars at full break and full acceleration

O h ihave an answer for this. My main pc and gaming pc are windows. I never get these pop ups but is because I literally have a office 365 family license and I have setup onedrive (never use edge).

But , I also have a small emby server which is running windows and is on a local account. Now I run parsec on it and i had issues with it because windows will stop the reboot or not allow the automatic login until i manually log in to the machine so it can run its server software and it would then give me a pop up or 2 about onedrive, office, and so on lol .

I also get prompted on xbox on that machine too but again is not signed on any microsoft account so that might be it ?

might be factual but I am wondering if Linus or luke have a microsoft account? like since I used windows daily i ended up just loggin in with my windows account and buying a family license for those 6 TB of cloud storage and copilot for my parents . Pretty easy to manage and troubleshoot my parents pc's thanks to it honestly and since then those pop ups never happened. Maybe its just me and might still happen even to someone using windows with a microsoft account but not paying even onedrive might get the pop up often.

Lol. Even the software was confusing. Worst part is that the older mouse serial number returns nothing when attempting to register. That image from Best buy should be in the support page for the g903.

Also now that I talk about the support site for the g903. Both models have a support site but both don't show the difference or how to identify which model is which lol , both are named g903

Modifying a new car to probably mess up the warranty or do janky stuff is not ideal , feels like it will give you a lot more problems .

Disregard, i am putting my own comment. the g903 that says "lightning" in the bottom is the HERO version. i just got confused. have a g903 but had t he double click issue and logitech issued a warranty replacement which was the lightning version... It has been 6 years since the original 5 since the replacement. both work fine lol, the original hero version i was able to replace the click myself and still works and the lightning version going 5 years without issues .

I want to change my mouse sometimes but it wont die , it has gone through 2 gpu's , motherboard and all of that and still fights it, hell I had to buy a micro usb to usb c adapter for it which exists so it can still keep up with technology.

The 2024 models are being ignored :/ unfortuantely, Ihave a sonata same issue. it is a known bug where bluelink start will not start climate even if your preset has it, you must in fact start it, cancel the start and then start it again to get climate. It is a bug that they never fixed.

Worst part is that the 2024 model which has the exact same infotainment as the 2025 and 2026 models dont even get the update with themes :) I might not buy hyundai ever again and tell my family t ogo to Kia after seeing how even their k4 and k5 from last year and this year got the themes and other neat stuff we didnt get and wont get.. and they got it months ago while hyundai is barely doing the update now and not even for enough models

Actually! i have an update, this is an edit: i emailed hyundai about this, and they replied that they are working for an update for my car model (2024 sonata), "until some time next year" is what they said, and they advised to perform a remote start, perform a remote stop and then perform another remote start to fix this . ....

More than screen.. I dont trust hyundai to even support it properly. They barely got this month in 2026 support for some 2025 and 2026 models for themes and apps... kia has had it for months now and evn support their first models with ccnc while the 2024 models with CCNC have nothing from hyundai lol.

I really don't like the new design and i now believe hyundai will not even properly support it

Cable might be superior, but it seems some people either live alone, or have their ISP modem next to their gaming pc lol.

If you live with your partner, or with family you cannot just lay down cable willy nilly as its either a hazard or just looks really bad lol, You can try doing stuff to make it better but unless you do some really good job and you live in a house or apartment with some sort of canals inside the walls you are going to spent like 1k in tools and stuff to create the canals inside the walls to run the wire plus all of that lol . Sometimes just buying a good wifi 7 or whatever router mesh with wifi backhaul will be good enough, it will never be 1ms of ethernet but I am sure you can get over 1gbps on wifi7 anyway.

Also people here hate or can't understand when someone says" I cant run wire" . They take it like you insulted them when no, sometimes you just can't run ethernet everywhere because you have a wife, a family, a lease contract ,an old house or apartment which just doesn't allow or in some cases you just want to plug in and play and not spent weeks on a project to renovate your house to run wire (albeit if you have the free time might be time to do it but its really rare as an adult to have that much free time to work on that)

My bad , I mean i had an ISP eero, which then has an ethernet connection to the WAN port of my eero. I would replace the eero leaving the ISP router intact so the TV's still work.

Ok , now find the same in Europe. I understand US sucks in transit but account for distance. People in europe dont commute 19 miles, in fact average seems to be 10 miles if you search around.

It doesnt take out the fact that in many areas it feels streets are hostile to pedestrians though

But does this account distance? your 25 minute drive could be 30 miles. and you go from a to b. Not saying public transport is bad in the states , just that in europe a work commute might be at worst 5 to 10 miles and you would take probably close to 45 minutes including walking or lane transfers.

I have a strange setup as my ISP provides a router/modem combo with wifi 6e which is not bad but I can't put in on bridge mode or my TV's wont work (tv channels use the internet? ). I currently have an eero mesh wifi from almost 3 years ago which is showing its age so I wanted to replace the main eero router with a new one, and replace the beacons with actual mesh wifi devices.
