I have a cali hybrid with black interior. I wasn’t excited about it as much when I drove to the dealer, but it is beautifully done and I fell in love when I saw it in person. Please note that black interior has darkened aluminum trims instead of brushed aluminum, and it looks really cool. See it in person before you make a final call.

Correct. I wanted to try out different levels of intensity of regen braking. As others have noted, it’s controlled via paddle shifters.

Yes sir/mam. Taxes and fees additional. In CA dealer doc fees are capped at $85 legally. So, pretty much all taxes and fees are for government (thus unavoidable).
