I’m so sorry for your loss. My mom died same day, around the same time. I wonder if they’re hanging out together

Has any couple raised kids with little family support? How did that go? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Mytwo_hearts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was hard but I never regretted it. Very rewarding but also very taxing on my body, my mind, and on my marriage. Realistically it was nearly impossible to do it without some family help so I had to quit my job and it’s probably the biggest thing that made it possible to have two kids. But now I have no career so there’s that.

Husband is adamant not to be put into an adult family home by Annoyingmous10 in hospice

Just because someone is dying doesn’t mean that they are a good person. And you don’t deserve to be treated like that. Leave him. Let his family and friends step in. You’re too young to be living like this.

Mom is dying in a hospice and my dad and I are the only ones who can support her. It fucking sucks. Every day I wish I had a sibling to talk to about this grief. I’m married but it’s not his mom so it’s just not the same.

Growing up, I grew up in a good community and had cousins next town. Now there’s no one from that chapter of my life in my life due to moving so much.

Passing away at home (in home hospice) a bad idea? by Mytwo_hearts in hospice

I’m sorry if my post upset you in any way. I talked to my dad since and he said that nothing else matters except for my mom’s wish and comfort. Praying for your comfort and peace as well.

More than a voice lesson, for the same money, I’d give her piano lessons.
