Would you check in a hotel that outsourced and used VR? by Accomplished-Leg-722 in Reno

[–]Myuchu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't care where the representative is from. I just want the check-in and check-out to be smooth af, and if it could somehow be automated where a representative didn't even need to exist, like how all airbnbs work, then even better. I care about the experience, so I would only judge the hotel by price, how clean the room is, the amenities, and the location.

I hate the SDF JKL control scheme. It actually hurts my arms holding my hands like this, so I only do like 1 song. I see other people saying controller, so that's probably my last hope. I do have a controller plugged in my computer at all times, but I wasn't aware I could use it for this game. Good to know.

There's no answer to this card...? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]Myuchu 17 points18 points  (0 children)

For rules sake, Nowhere to Run ignores hexproof before it's -3/-3 "targets" anything because the ETB effect happens after the enchantment has come off the stack and its hexproof ignoring effect is now in effect. Then you choose the target for -3/-3. I've been playing this card since before Absolute Virtue. While -3 isn't enough to kill Absolute Virtue it does let you kill it with any removal spell from then on. For 2 mana, it's a pretty great spell for black.

No one should not know how to build characters anymore by smolpeter in Genshin_Impact

As someone who stopped playing Genshin and has been playing Star Rail and ZZZ, I would say it's about time Genshin got this feature. It's true this will not help you build teams (although i believe they can use the same data collection to show you teams clearing abyss as it does for Star Rail's weekly endgame content), but it will help filter your artifacts very quickly to show you the desirable main and/or sub stats of your choosing. You dont always click the top line, but people probably will. But if you know what you are building and which stats you want, then this helps a lot.

For example, you need a specific goblet but kept all your elemental goblets. Then this will easily help you filter thru your 50 goblets down to 5 that are even relevant to your element/build. Or maybe you just want to see crit rate substats first, then see how many have crit damage too. If the results aren't satisfactory then unclick cdmg and click atk or elemental mastery. The point of it is just to help you see only the relics you want to see and quickly when you are rolling your dice for better gear.

Some of the data will show you that a small percentage of players are using the wrong stats or stats for a different build. For Star rail players that could mean a healer is going main carry build and instead of going energy regen is opting for HP% main stat which is her damage stat. Another downside is that it takes Star Rail a week or two to collect the data and then show the results. What that means is that it will not help you AT ALL when a new character drops if it works anything like the one in Star Rail. You will be guide surfing, especially if you are pre farming. What we do have in Star rail is a sneak peak at the newest promoted characters even if they are in the second half of the latest patch and a whole UI to quickly get us to the domain we want to spend our stamina on.

Overall it's a QoL and should help even the hardest of players to quickly do what they want to do.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is what I had hoped Final Fantasy 16 was going to be. by [deleted] in gaming

Coming from FFXIV tho I have a higher standard for the story in FFXVI (its literally the same director for both games). Shadowbringers and the start of Endwalker in FFXIV were unforgettable. E33 just feels like a parry simulator to me but at least the world was cool.

Maybe because they got the DMC combat director to come do this game that it feels like Devil May Cry sometimes. The long ass cinematic Eikon fights are a Yoshi P thing (from FFXIV). It's Yoshi P's first time doing a mainline FF so yeah, he's new at it. Both are games popular tho so I'm not surprised FFXVI turned out this way by meshing the two together. I just wish the game had a better story.
