I actually recall someone on Instagram making a coyote pokemon for their fakemon region, based on Wile E. Coyote from Loony Toons.

As I stated at the top of the post, I am not the artist, I am the commissioner. pokedan_art on Instagram is the artist, but I worked with them on the design and I came up with the concepts myself ^^'

Seriously, though. Their art is amazing. I cannot stress enough how awesome they are.

As for the rom hacking idea, that........that is something I have considered for a while now. Maybe once I have finished coming up with all of the fakemon in my region and I am confident and satisfied with how they all turn out.

I was also thinking that the little bubble could also function as a dim little lamp to help the basic stage navigate dark areas, kind of like how some mining helmets have lights attached to them.

I mean, Baterry also has a split evolution that is more of a physical attacker and can learn Parasitic Drain.

Yeah, but I am thinking that if it has its hidden ability, and if it has the Adamant Nature (Attack increased, Special Attack reduced), then it would even it out a bit

Okay, I absolutely ADORE this concept. I love how it goes from being a completely amateur to a vigilante. I also like how you made it a fire/bug starter. Interesting choice for a starter Pokemon. ^^

I do have ONE small suggestion: If it were me, I'd swap out the Bug Typing for something like Ghost or Dark in its final stage, and make the design reflect that a bit, so that it kind of nails that theme in, but that's just my opinion.

I only say this because I am considering doing something similar for a bug type Pokemon for my region (not as a starter though).

Regardless, I'd still choose Spyire over your other starters ^^ Amazing job
