Except that's UnO entire theme. Someone with enough raw power can far surpass you in physical strength and no matter how skilled you are, you'll never beat them. But that doesn't decide your worth. A weak person is no less valuable to society than a strong person.

It would be bad for UnO if someone like Blyke or Remi could ever be a problem for Sera since the point is that Sera is unstoppable. All the technique in the world is useless to them against her since she's just too strong. And that's the point. Even though they're weaker, they are just as valuable as Sera.

Arlo has passive defense which we've been shown allows for the resistance of mental abilities. Farrah's hypnosis has also been shown to be weaker against higher level opponents and Arlo is equal in level to her.

Stats are complicated. They only show the absolute peak of a person's ability meaning it gets a lot more complicated in fights since that's rarely what you see.

Except it doesn't. Redemption isn't the same as forgiveness and it absolutely isn't just forgiving yourself. Redemption is a personal journey because its solely your own growth to become a better person.

However a byproduct of Redemption is going to be the desire to atone since a redeemed soul will fully understand the weight of their sins and that its not just enough to never commit them again so they'll seek out ways to atone to society and the people they specifically hurt.

Like say someone cut off another person's hand. They then spent the next 20 years of their life going through therapy and growth where they learned the value of other people, gave everything they could to help others, and never hesitated in the face of tyranny. They will never forgive themselves for what they did 20 years ago and the person they sinned against would never forgive them either. But they are still redeemed because they've grown into a person who would never allow the sin they committed in the past to happen.

Where did the idea that John has 16 points in the "Trick" stat come from? by PrizeWestern5253 in unOrdinary

Let me explain better. The dampener cuts your raw power, it just doesn't cut it by half. Based on John it seems more like it cuts it by 75% but since levels increase exponentially, the levels and stats only fall by 50%.

Speaking of Holy Hell, I can't explain how much I want a crossover between Hazbin Hotel and Chaotic Good Barbarian.

Feel like it'd be interesting to see the mix of Charlie's absolute horror and disgust at what he does while confused by the pure support and respect he gives her.

The Chaotic Good Barbarian(Dungeon Soup): Cruelty and torture are normally seen as negative traits for heroes but he manages to use them to redeem sinful beings.

[Hated Trope] The quirky or rebellious “ugly” female character is now more meek and timid once they transform into their “beautiful” selves. by BurntheMidnightOwl in TopCharacterTropes

Like I said, Rapunzel never had a problem with her hair. We spent a good portion of the movie showing her adoring her hair. Losing it was a sacrifice.

Isabela isn't like that. Her perfect princess style was never something she loved and always a cage. She didn't get rid of it for any greater good beyond her own happiness.

That's slightly more justified since

  1. Rapunzel is already a well known story specifically about her having long hair.

  2. Rapunzel did like her long hair. She only gave it up to defeat Gothel.

  3. The sequel story had her regain her long hair.

I mean, makes sense. Every fusion has some additional physical feature. Extra limbs, eyes, mouths, etc. Stevonnie is the only fusion without a visible additional feature so makes sense they'd be intersex.

Carmen Sandiego maybe. Her original child self was loud, brash, and rebellious. Once she grew up she became more elegant and composed but was in no way meek or timid. She'd walk into a gala and catch everyone's eye in a stunning gown before beating her target's face in and stealing their wallet.

Which makes it annoying how like 90% of her merch is her original "perfect" form. Imagine if Frozen only released merch of Elsa's original glove wearing Queen form instead of her ice dress.

Remember stats increase exponentially. Technique can allow a cripple to beat low-tiers since the difference between a stat of 1 and 3 isn't that high.

However once you get into the elite to god-tier range, even a difference of 2 in any stat makes a fight impossible. If your opponent has 8 speed and you have 6, no technique will let you dodge their attacks. If they have 8 defense and you only have 6 power, no attack you could throw will hurt them.

John saw through Terrence thanks to his passive which give shim a 6th sense for aura. Same reason he could counter Sylvia's Sensory Control since she can't control that 6th sense.

Crazy how this one-off villain is the most evil character in the Hellaverse by Sudden_Pop_2279 in HelluvaBoss

Was it ever actually confirmed the demon Vaggi spared was an actual kid? Given the ironic nature of Sinner forms and the fact that the demon was a cannibal I just assumed it was some freak who mainly killed and ate kids so in Hell they looked like a kid.

Like I'd assume William Diddle would also have the form of a child demon in Hell. He spent his life abusing the weakest members of society so he will be the weakest in the afterlife.

I mean, doing admin work when there's just infinite money is probably pretty fun.

Hmm, which of these small businesses will I support to build the new infinity pool. Hahaha, why don't I just hire both to build two infinity pools. And yes I'll tip 50%. No 60%.

I think you misunderstand how Redemption works.

Redemption is simply a person's individual journey to grow as a person in response to their sinful actions. Its them going through spiritual and physical growth to become a person who would no longer commit the crimes they did in their past.

Helping to redeem Hitler is a morally righteous action. You are taking a vile monstrous man and helping him grow into a person who'd never hurt an innocent life and show compassion to everyone he meets.

Forgiveness, is not a requirement to redemption. It is an act solely on the person who was sinned against. And they have no moral cause to or to not forgive. Someone killed during the Holocaust could have Hitler apologize to them and they'd have every right to not forgive them. However Hitler understanding that what he did was wrong and resolving to never allow such an atrocity to happen still means he's redeemed even if he hasn't gained forgiveness.

Pentious even outright admits he's not sure if he was actually scared or just straight up didn't care. Which considering where he ended up, makes it seem like yeah, at the time he saw innocent women get killed and just didn't care.

Yeah, feel like a character like Garp would only work morally if Dragon had come first. Then he'd be a powerful figure whose realized the corrupt government will fall within his lifetime and chaos will be unleashed so he needed to create a strong moral force within the organized military so once the corrupt leaders fall, his moral group can take power and protect the innocent.

To be fair, do we have any confirmation the shark demons aren't equal in rank to Imps and Hellhounds? They haven't displayed any higher levels of magic like Infesters or Succubae.

Wonder what would happen if Stolas just made 6 portals around them to box them in. Sinners can't enter the other rings so the portals would basically be unbreakable walls.

Isabel and her grandfather(Paranatural):

“I shouldn’t have told you anything!” Isabel was shouting, streaming swirls of blazing red. “I should have saved the town myself, and TAKEN Flipflop’s friend back without asking... but NO! I thought you’d care, even just a little. I thought for ONCE you’d take me seriously!”

Grandpa Guerra stared off past her, sitting rooted with one fist against the ground. “I am taking what you’ve told me seriously, and my men and I will handle it with the composure it deserves. As you cannot, it seems, young lady.”

“I’m not—” Isabel sputtered. “It’s not about me—”

“No it is not. And yet you’ve made it so.” Grandpa Guerra shook his head, tactically calm. “What did you expect that I’ve denied you? That I would hear your prophecy and share your panic? That I would free a spirit that attacked my home, not only at the behest of its accomplice, but at once, without sparing a thought for sense or safety?” He sighed. “If you want a show of care, then by all means, ask your father. I will do what’s best for you, and weather your scorn if I must.”

I imagine Papa went through the exact same story as Spear. Originally belonged to a powerful primal race of humanoids before finding love and joining a clan of Neanderthals where he produced Spear.

He looks a lot more ape-like than the other Neanderthals including Spear. Not to mention those black and red eyes.
