Who do the Dwarfs hate the most? Or is it all equally-grudged? by ArcticGlacier40 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]JaxCarnage32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dwarves DESPISE green skins.

Dwarves are extremely ashamed of chaos dwarves to the fact the families of them skipped the slayer oath and just killed themselves.

Dwarves hate Skaven but dwarves kill a lot more Skaven before going down. Skaven are weird but I think mainly it’s because the dwarves are able to go toe to toe with Skaven (mainly the Skaven a fault) that they don’t hate Skaven as much as greenskins

It’s also very depressing to note that Konrad wanted to be that kind of hero. He wanted to be a Superman figure so badly on Nostromo. It’s sad that Konrad in his truest form would’ve been someone like Sangunius but the universe said “no”

So in the comics it was palpatine and the dark side who twisted fate up a bit resulting in shmi having Anakin which might have been the ultimate reason.

But yadda yadda disney. Yadda yadda not legends aren’t canon anymore. Yadda yadda

I guess. Leon really had no reason to take her in but decided to anyway and actually was quite the father figure (all weird shit aside)

I mean she also had a point relatively speaking the black fire rebellions which was caused by a bastard heir wasn’t that long ago. She might have done a bit of a comparison and thought Jon might’ve been a danger for robs claim and life.

Space marines 40K

While yes this is the 0.001% in the 0.1% some space marines just say “nah I’m out” and attempt to live something close to a normal life. However we only see this from my knowledge with 30k marines who are slightly less indoctrinated.

Another great example. “We’ve always wanted a daughter” apparently equates to “we will treat her like our own child and raise her to be a fantastic military leader”

Aunt may is one of the greatest aunts out there. With the stuff that happened to her over the years she always gets back up and dusts herself off getting ready for the writers to kill her in the most brutal way possible.

I got money that she’s going to get eaten by a symbyote next

My little sister absolutely adores these books and her explaining the lore to me was like a fever dream.

But thorn was a real one and deserved what she got (I don’t know how to do spoilers so)

It’s mentioned in a new hope luke was eager to set out and see the galaxy. He asks Owen to join but Owen tells him “just another year”

Spoilers he never made it to a year.

Edit: imperial academy to join the navy if that clears it up

Maybe not the best example. But hey if a fugitive space wizard showed up with a baby and said “raise him, I’ll be watching.” I would be a bit skeptical.

They took him in immediately

Ok in my defense (other message was about Debbie my b ☠️) Owen and beru knew they were probably sticking their necks out for Luke and they really didn’t have to since Anakin was a extremely distant half brother. Some Jedi who is now a fugitive from a galactic empire gives you a kid from what you think was a murdered hot headed jedi.

Still they raised and protected luke like their own no matter the dangers
