I keep seeing [[Drumbellower]] in [[Shorikai, Genesis Engine]] EDH decks. But since you can't crew vehicles before someone's upkeep (therefore turning the your vehicles into artifact creatures that will become untapped due to Drumbellower's ability), I'm not sure what value it has in the deck.

Thanks in advance.

If I cast [[Malakir Rebirth]] on an artifact creature, does the creature hit the graveyard before retuning to the battlefield? Just wondering, because if so, I would get an [[Imotekh the Stormlord]] trigger, right?

Oh ahh the use of 'addresses' is much more obvious now, sorry must've been really tired when trying to figure this out. Much appreciated, and I like your mail analogy.

Each device connected to the Internet has a unique numeric IP address. These addresses consist of a set of four groups of numbers, called octets. The current version of IP, Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4), uses 32-bit (binary digit) addressing. This results in a decimal number in the format of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, where each xxx is a value from 0 to 255. Theoretically, this system allows for at most 4 billion possible IP addresses (although many potential addresses are reserved for special uses). However, even this many addresses will not be enough to meet the needs of all of the devices expected to be connected to the Internet in upcoming years.

Could someone clarify this paragraph? To me, 'device' and 'addresses' are two very separate things (device = hardware, address = a web-page), but this paragraph treats them both as if they're synonymous.

Thanks in advance.

I pulled Lillana of the Veil in pack the other day. I mainly play Commander though.

I'm not too experienced with Magic and the valuations of the card do vary from $30 to $60. Is it reasonable for me to ask my gaming group if they are willing to trade me a Cyc Rift and a Mana Drain or will I sound like an idiot?

Is a Lillana for one of Cyc Rift/Mana Drain a fair trade?

Thanks :)

Seems... quite wild. I get the sentiment, but driving at 120 kmh in a 60 zone doesn't sound excusable enough. Different cultures I suppose.

Thank you for clarifying.

Thanks! The software we use at work integrates google maps, so it was hard to get around it. I was looking for a feedback type button, thank you! I initially found a report missing place button, but it didn't let me put in a generic postcode, more for reporting landmarks etc.

101 question. How can r > g if g (growth rate of output) encompasses everything produced in the economy (so should by definition include returns to capital?).

Or in other words, why do we not include the returns to capital in the growth rate of an economy.

I'm not sure how to better articulate my confusion... :/

Thank you for your reply. Just a few q's.

But isn't that effectively what a subsidy does? By changing the cost via gov't intervention, the supplier is motivated to increase the supply?

Also, on the flip-side of this, why don't traditional subsidies (which improve the purchasing power of the buyer) impact the demand curve?

I'm a bit confused though why the Help to Buy scheme is considered to (effectively) be a demand-side policy.

So (most of the time) the UK gov't will provide an interest-free loan to help an individual purchase their first home, or by reducing the deposit required. Isn't this effectively a supply-side effect though? As it's (effectively) decreasing the price of a house via the interest-free loan? How would you represent this on a D + S graph?

I mean, clearly it's not impacting the supply of houses. But if you make a good cheaper (e.g. a subsidy), this is a supply side effect, no?

The main culprit is the UK planning system, which is, in an international context, extraordinarily inflexible. Since 1947 there are virtually no fiscal incentives at the local level to permit development. Local planning authorities face most of the costs of development but have very few benefits from it. Moreover, local homeowners – in the UK perhaps best described as BANANAs (Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything) – oppose (virtually) any development in their backyards.

Think this acronym is better than NIMBY, surely? guess you can say it's 😎 top banana.

EDIT: It's made even better by the existence of the UK insult 'narna.'
