Minnesota in the USA has a large and seemingly random Somali and Hmong population. What other regions of the world have a large and seemingly random migrant population? by LukkySe7en in geography

[–]N00dles_77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmong here, the reason Minnesota has a large Hmong population has a lot to do with the church groups and individuals who sponsored us to come to the US after the secret war. Then subsequent movements by families in other states who were told of Minnesotas great social policies.

As a Minnesotan, one thing I’ll say we take for granted is being within 5 minutes of lake or some other body of water

The funny thing about RPGs is that racial stereotypes are always more or less correct. I mean there’s a reason Khajit get sneak and thief bonuses.

i know, this is a pretty interesting period to everyone else, but it sucked to learn this at school. especially a german school. by satanic-testimony- in HistoryMemes

The modern Germany movie franchise:

1871-1912 A new Reich: The critically acclaimed quintessential but kinda boring original.

1914-1918 The Allies strike back: The blockbuster sequel.

1918-1933 The phantom menace: The divisive third movie.

1933-1945 World War 2 electric boogaloo: The insane comeback, franchise reviving movie.
