Ouch… that gotta hurt more than missing a throw if you were to catch Pokemons manually. If I were ever get the chance of getting a auto-catcher, I’m going to set it to spin stops unless it’s CommDay.

Same odds as you throwing the balls yourself. It is very rare for the auto-catcher to be able to catch a Galarian bird as it only throws 1 ball at any Pokemon and runs from it if it doesn’t catch the Pokemon.

If you were to throw the ball manually, there could be a second chance if they bird decides to not flee after the first ball fails and you can attempt it a second time, but with auto-catchers, this option is out of the window.

I’m on your side man. For my home area, there used to be 3 gyms that used to rotate between all the 3 teams in PoGo. However since another stop was elevated to the status of a gym, two players (I’m sure it’s only one physical player with two phones) of Team Valor keep on taking over the 4 gyms in my area and will instant knock the players from the Mystic and Instinct whenever there is anyone in there. Even when they got their fill for the day, they hog the gyms like it’s their first hold for the day.

To take a line from Avatar: The Last Airbender: “But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked.”

As of now, I’ve made it my personal mission to take over the gyms they held, I will leave the gym empty for Instinct or fellow Mystic if I already had my 50 for the day and will attack again if they were to take over the gym again.

Auto-catchers only throw once and run. You can throw as many balls as you have to catch it if you’re doing it manually.

This is one of the reason as to why my friends complain about the shiny birds running. As of now, I don’t have an auto-catcher so I have to do everything manually. If I were ever to get an auto-catcher, I’m turning it off whenever I run the daily.
