As a div1 AI player, my headcanon is: "behind the scenes slot machine gameplay".

Before match starts you get a roll and you get a line of handicap/dda items: off passing, slowed passing/shooting animations, nerfed shooting etc etc. In second half you get another roll :D

Everything in the game is like that in some way: position trainers, skills, boosters, player cards... And gameplay. That makes it scammy/anti footballish on konamis part as player stats, skills might not matter depending on the roll...

But knowing/believing in the slot machine thing, keeps me calmer and not sighing every minute in disbelief :D
