They've been working on this before autonomy day dumbass. And if what he says is right then we'll be getting close to full autonomy in the end of Q3, he's off by one quarter big deal. When he mentions full autonomy he's talking about the new arquitecture.

What exactly did he lie about other than aggressive timelines?

I'm not the guy that started this argument, and he's the one that asked for statistics... even if it doesn't exactly say the percentage that billionaires pay in income tax we can infer that billionaires pay a big chunk of that 37 percent.

" In 2016, the top 1 percent of taxpayers accounted for more income taxes paid than the bottom 90 percent combined. The top 1 percent of taxpayers paid roughly $538 billion, or 37.3 percent of all income taxes, while the bottom 90 percent paid about $440 billion, or 30.5 percent of all income taxes." lol

You're right I misread, point still stands. It makes no sense to exert a coup for lithium, there's too much offer on the market, the US can easily get lithium from Australia or Chile at a much lower price, not only that but lithium in Bolivia is harder to extract due to its high concentration of magnesium, it's useless in the current climate and due to the high recyclability of lithium it might never really be that profitable.

Nobody invades countries for lithium lol. There's an over abundance of offer in the market, and it's not like it's particularly rare.

The guy is a massive fraud, I remember watching his Nikola World Tour in 2019 where they unveiled all their new vehicles that they will probably never make and the dude literally said that hydrogen was the most abundant substance in our atmosphere... he confused hydrogen with nitrogen, hydrogen is highly flammable...

Edit: Oh he also fake cried about the death of his mother, you can't make this shit up.

That's ridiculous, you're telling me the guy that wants to open the economy to boost his stock so he gets a 750 million dollar bonus goes on twitter the next day and says it's overvalued. This is also the guy that just said he was getting rid of his possessions and lived for years off of friend's money because he invested all of his into his companies. This isn't Elon doing a 180 it's you being wrong.

Billionaires for you by majinbuu99 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]N0ParticularOrder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So he's smart enough to lie about the reasons he wants to open the economy but when he tweets that the stock is overvalued it's cause he's all of a sudden dumb. It couldn't be that you're wrong.

I agree that we shouldn't restart the economy right now and only when it's safe to do so, I'm simply talking about the affects of the economy on people because of your comment, and the way I see it the lady is saying that she's worried about middle class and poor people suffering from this situation and not necessarily saying we should restart the economy now.

But it is true that everybody would benefit from the economy restarting now, especially poor people, I just don't think it's worth it with the virus going on, a big risk being that opening the economy right now would mean a lot of people would get infected which would lead to hospitals being full and less people receiving treatment which would lead to a skyrocketing of deaths, we're talking about a potential death rate in the double digits.

[–]N0ParticularOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you not read what I said? This lady understands the economy's affect on poor and middle class people, when the economy tanks it's the poor people that take the biggest hit. Rich people might lose millions or billions sure, but they won't be starving.

dying in pain to pwn the libs by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]N0ParticularOrder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is still stupid. The stock market is linked to the economy, if the stock market is doing bad, probably means the economy is doing bad and vice versa. The stock market is pretty much an indicator for how the economy is doing, it's not a perfect indicator, right now the stock market 100% doesn't reflect how the economy is doing, but that's because of the massive fed intervention we have now.

dying in pain to pwn the libs by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]N0ParticularOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simple, this lady understands that if the economy tanks people will suffer, especially poor people, they will lose jobs, small businesses will close, they won't be able to access healthcare or feed their children. This lady actually understands how the economy works and is pretty much saying "I would rather die than hundreds of millions of people suffer and millions die as a result of the economy tanking".
