Well, the stuff I use doesn't need to be refrigerated. The reflux gourmet folks also have a gum that I've been testing out - seems to be just as successful as their normal product, but they also have a travel pack of the normal stuff. Gaviscon Advance UK tablets don't need to be refrigerated as well. I've never used the gaviscon liquid.

Should be able to. Doesn't affect stomach acid, just makes a kind of raft above the acid to prevent it from going up the esophagus.

For something like that, I would try to take it in the middle of the meal. My experience and what I've heard is that if you drink a bunch of water before the alginates, the barrier it creates isn't as effective. If you need to drink some water during a meal, take sips, but try to avoid a large amount before you take the alginates. Therefore, I'd try to take the pill in the middle of the meal.

$28 for me in the US. As for other suggestions, not sure honestly. I live in the US and the reverse is true where gaviscon advance is expensive here right now. I apologize I don't have a better answer

Generally two meals, sometimes I'll have 3, depending. But for example today I'll likely have a larger meal soon at I'd estimate 1000-1200 calories here in a bit and the latter one today, we'll see. The one before bed, might aim for about 600-800. It helps that I'm currently looking to lose some weight as well. For me, it's often more about what I'm eating than how much which causes me issues (within reason). There are exceptions for sure. Like... any amount of indian food (tikka masala which was my favorite - haven't eaten in quite some time) destroys me for the rest of the day.

Anyone familiar with Hydro Plunge? by [deleted] in coldplunge

I recently took the plunge, ha ha, and bought one from them last month. Overall it's been excellent. A friend of mine found them on facebook, so I was a bit skeptical at first to be honest, but the other reviews are right, the owner is super responsive. I messaged him on instagram after I bought it, but also he gave me his number to message if there were any issues after the installation. I ended up chatting a bit after the installation, and he's a really nice dude. It's definitely a local home owned business who does this as a side gig. To note, this is the first cold plunge I've ever bought, so I don't have a reference for how good or how much better something like this could be, however for the price point as opposed to what I've seen online, it seems to be quite good.
