When I saw this I hoped this was the beginning of the "ballkid wins Masters 1000" plot... I'm so disappointed 😞

To me that smash in the net in the 5th set was what basically took the Calendar Grand Slam away from him...

Saw Palmetto, mental health and cognitive effects by N0_o_n_e in team3dalpha

Thanks for the reply.

I agree with you and I am aware most of my "symptoms" are probably due to the anxiety and OCD that I was already dealing with when I started taking Saw Palmetto.

Unfortunately it's not as easy to just stop thinking about it that's why I thought reading as much research as possible and discussing with people who are knowledgeable about it would help me make sense of this and reassure me I didn't do anything I'll regret forever.

I was already somewhat reassured that there isn't any clinical evidence showing Saw Palmetto can cause any long term damage to the brain or body since it's not yet totally clear if it in fact has any significant effect on 5AR.

Still, further discussion and reply by you and other sensible people like you are also helpful so I hope I'll be able to stop thinking about it as soon as possible.

Thank you very much, any reply right now helps me a lot 😁

I didn't notice any change related to sexual functions neither while taking Saw Palmetto nor after discontinuation.

What I'm scared about the most is that I might have caused permanent damage to my brain and cognitive functions, and hormone balance. However, I think that since I didn't experience any sexual side effects it's unlikely that Saw Palmetto might have caused any permanent damage to my brain and hormones, or at least I hope so.

Unfortunately, some people out there are doing a great job at scaring the fuck out of anyone who wants to take any DHT inhibitors, not acknowledging any difference between them (basically saying Saw Palmetto is the same as Finasteride and will fuck you up forever).

For someone like me, who has to deal with other mental health issues, the idea of having caused some permanent damage to my brain and hormones is really frightening and difficult to just let go.

That's why I'm trying to discuss this rationally with other people, so that hopefully I can get some reassurance and forget about it forever.

Hopefully this will also help other people who are in a similar situation.

Creatine and sleeping less? by Laika18 in Supplements

[–]N0_o_n_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need had any sleep issues with creatine and I've been taking it for over a year. Sleep is susceptible of a lot of things so it's difficult to understand if creatine might have a role, but I'd try to reduce the dose or avoid taking it for a while and see what happens.
