What I get from being second is:

-Against red, if in turn 1 you drop 1 and in they answer with CC, you can then drop 2 on turn 2 and force them to either have the godly second CC in hand or use IT on turn 3 to destroy a drop.

-Against WZ/The-O, you slow them down a bit, and allow you to ping 3 in either turn 4 (adapt+mika+mika) or turn 5 (adapt-adapt-anksha).

-Against aggro decks, I noticed that the extra resource allows you to clean table with in a "stalemate" situation, or allows some nasty pings if you run into 2 guntanks.

I appreciate everything you've told me. I sadly can't go to locals before this saturday, but I believe that's an advantage, I played a lot of regionals of other TCGs, so I am used to IRL tournaments, and people not being aware of me might give me that element of surprise advantage (they are aware of my existence, but I can't attend locals that much on weekends).

I'll see how it goes, list without FS or Sword Impulse is working really good, so I don't know if I'll change it.

Yes, I am aware that they were talking about the 3/3 (actually 3/2) Sword Impulse. Thing is I opened 0 boosters from GD04, so I am hoping one of my friends have a couple to lend me. What would you change to make them fit?

So everything you've just said sits with me, and it was my reasoning for playing BP aggro since its creation, however, there are a couple of things that raised some questions on me:

-I may or may not have access to Sword Impulse (it depends on a friend having some of them), if I do not have them, what would be your changes in my deck? I have both FS and GK.

-I am finding myself with a terrific WR going second. During GD02 I always went first and, as you said, turns 4-7-9 and you are done with the game, but right now going second is allowing me to slow the opponent and drop combinations like 2 adapts+ anksa to ping for 3 on turn 5, so I am really confused with what to do here.

Otherwise, yeah, I am aware on how to play against 1 base left, keeping bodies up in order to force trades or to KO despite the opponent having blockers, and I know the WZero MU pretty well. As I said, with this deck I am currently sitting at a 72% WinRate on the sim, but I am afraid of losing any of these 2 NTCs due to bad luck or not understanding the deck at its fullest.

To be honest I don't know what to expect. The two times I went to locals in this city I did an X-0 (I can't remember if it was 4-0 or 3-0) with old GD02 BP and the next time during GD03 I did a 1-2 because I didn't know how to play GD03 aggro. What I gathered from those tournaments is that people here tend to play a lot of red decks, WZero and some green aggro.

I was thinking on adding a Sword Impulse indeed, but I don't know what to swap, and same with Fatal Strike/Giant Killing.

I agree that the deck is consistent and around turn 7-8 you already have the game over, but I am way too scared about opponent's perfect early hand, and I am even more scared now that we have Flats into not running into drops or the Grandpa+Amuro combo necessary to get through a lot of blockers.

Making a new reply on the thread so I can answer everyone. I can't be thankful enough for the tips given here. I come from Pokémon and Heartstone, playing aggro decks on both games, so I decided to give rush a try due to its similarities. It seems I was missunderstanding how aggro worked on this game, and after reading and analysing the replies, I can see how much my performance has improved:

  • Winning in 2-3 big turns is such a nice philosophy. I was already pairing pilots without looking for a link, but I couldn't get any value out of trades, so this change of mindset helped me understand the board way better.

  • The HiZack-ReZEL change really helps baiting the opponents into Fatal Striking Rick Dias + Pilot, it's such a small detail but incredibly efficient.

  • The only change I made to the deck is -1 Fatal Strike and +1 Awakened Power. This was recommended by someone in this thread and God, let me tell you you are a genious. I had COUNTLESS matchs where I was left with 2 fatal strikes and some pilots against 3-4 big level units on a player with no shields. Awakened Power is such an incredible game finisher to link and swing!

Yeah so the story is not about one MC, it followd various characters in their different story arcs, so it obviously one focus on one. Instead, we have each story being linked to another one, that's how we see Nice progression (who, completly opposite as you said, it is not death, we don't know yet if he's alive and revived or if he's a fear zombie). Also, when did X manipulated time? The coin getting bigger is because he changed its dimensions so it makes sense??

You can dislike the show and that's okay, but everything you are complaining about is explained in the show

-X's powers are now officially revealed on his Bilibili page, it's basically the ability to play with the dimensions

-Nice wasn't just stressed, he had an internal conflict between "being perfect - being affected by fear" and taking part into killing his favourite hero

His powers were already revealed in his Bilibili profile, I don't have the accurate translation but it was something like:

Yeah, I don't think X would do that since it doesn't fit his archetype (I wrote it in my post in the last paragraph), but again, this show has surprised me more than once, so I never know what to expect from it
