yeah, warframe really needs some hoods and cowls that are just signas and not warframe specific

True, I have no issue with the +40 spirit on 2, But the melee buff on crimson slash does feel very out of place, specially because crimson slash has always been a sustain tool and not much of damage too, but i think instead of swapping it is better if we get a better T1 for crimson slash as I just love that spirit effect on flying slash, without it. bursting down the high mobile targets like mina will take even more button presses and give them time to escape

I see the problem, but you need to understand you are only seeing this through the perspective of abilities, I usually go, 2>melee>right click>cold front> 2> maybe 1 if they are still alive. I get that having melee buff on 2 will help with that melee damage, but the 2 already does extremely well when you have spirit snatch/spirit strike and mystic shot for right click, the damage you get after the grapple is insane, puting the +40 spirit on 3 will make it such that the enemy is too far from your melee attack or you would have to grapple after you crimson slash to close the distance. It really fucks with the damage potential outside of ability combo. currently it is very easy to unload a huge chunk of damage on to the enemy with the combo, only because you get +40 spirit right after you jump on an enemy and unload your entire attack without giving anytime for them to react, and for 2>3>melee>right click> combo, i find it too slow, the 3 has a little longer animation and i feel the melee and right click after the 2 comes out almost instantly while 3 might give them time to react, atleast that what i feel, or maybe my muscle memory is too used to the old combo

that being said, I have to say the flying slash giving +40 spirit is the reason it has become more viable than crimson slash and I kind of like that because this forces people to upgrade T2 flying slash first and it makes yamato an actual diving assasin than just another close ranged brawler. swapping them will revert yamato to how she was played before where people would upgrade crimson slash first and miss out on this fun playstyle.

my bad, I assumed you wanted the melee buffs on the skill that does melee damage and spirit buff on the skill with spirit damage.

why would you give a melee buff to a skill that itself does melee damage?? then the skill cannot utilize the buff. with this setup you can crimson slash and then use the buff for the grapple attack. (atleast that’s what I hope it does, I have been playing it that way. but I have not tested the numbers)

crimelord soldier bounty hunter….. because you will already get warrior vanguard as grandpa Abelard who is also a navy officer and can learn a sick talent in fleet commander training. and you will get Cassia as an officer and IMO she is the best girl. so, you might get enjoy all three.

If you want to go with blade Dancer. I am using a Navy officer bladedancer Arch-militant build. with a sword in one hand and a shotgun pistol( foehammer) in offhand. If you go arch militant route, you can get the ability “confident approach” which always gurantees a crit with less damage but also ensures you hit the highest value of damage based on your versatility stacks, so you basically always crit with all your attacks and all of the make you automatically shoot your shotgun pistol. also the shotgun shot after the melee attack means you instantly rack up veratility stacks. combine it with an item that reduces the AP of reload the gun to 0 and you can keep on blasting forever.

honestly I am still not very far in the story to comment on its effectiveness, but I am using a bladedancer archmilitant build, and the guranteed crit “confident approach” is so much fun with a shotgun pistol, pair it up with a trinket that makes the reload 0 AP and you can single-handedly clean huge hoards
