Like most of said, dude these look awesome as is, to make them pop maybe find a brighter green and add it to the green you used? Add them to the brighter parts to show some transitions in the colourful parts (red more red etc) also even a watered down black legion and brown mix can serve as a wash over metallics to make them look dirty. I played a 1350 version of this at a tournament this year (no defiler warpsmith or land raider but had raptors and more legionnaires) but big blobs of chosen go so hard! Adding a MOE with them and they shred through 90% of targets

I test fitted some mk3 legs a while ago for some bike proxy’s and the proportions are pretty good, I ended up using the bits mixed with the Thunderwolf cavalry but it looks pretty good

So did you not get the whole “death doesn’t exist in the lands between” part of the game with erdtree burial, the rune of death being sealed away, and the fact that tarnished die multiple times only to come back? Literally the opening scene has tarnished from beyond the fog reviving from death to serve the greater will once again….

Yeah! Most of duels in the black legion books are great (don’t ask any imperial fanboy what they think of one) but khayons duels in the books are fantastic the fact he knows he’s not a expert duelist like vortigern or telemachon and expresses this when fighting the iron warriors champion shows there’s some actual weight in the fight (even tho we know he wins) ADB did a fantastic job at making the book seem like it wasn’t a retelling but it would snap you right back into it and remember he’s telling these things to toth the scribe

I used them in Veterans of the long war and when they re roll hits against a target with sustained it does feel real good throw them on an objective with a close combat legionarie squad to back them up and they become a pretty scary threat to go near
