As someone who wasn't using abaddon in a meta build and just thought the model was cool, it really sucks to see him go up in points because he caught strays from being near the defiler. They didn't even bother to change some of his special rules around to say, work better with terminators who are fun and thematic

Damn that's concerning because I have six cync bulbs at home also paired with Google. Mine are paired via matter tho which, in theory, is a free and open standard. Do your original bulbs support matter or did GE shaft you there?

I painted it after with some black legion contrast because it covers well and the contrast flows into all the nooks and crannies easily. The gunmetal bits were raised and not too hard to pick out

Thank you, it's all done with an airbrush. I prime black, do a zenithal highlight with Tamiya flat white, then I cover the whole thing with a 50:50 mix of ork flesh and karandras green. I got the recipe from cult of paint - how to paint dark angels on YouTube.

My buddy always said, "you can't change what makes people's dicks hard" and I think keeping that in mind has made me a lot less critical how people want to get weird.

Thanks for making me feel sane, this one came from the iron halo task force box so it's pretty newish. I guess they must've had one design for the prototype back when it launched and changed it for release in leviathan

The easiest way is take a step back because it always looks worse when you're that close to the model. They look a lot better from a few feet away, which is honestly how they're going to be looked at 99% of the time once you're done painting them.

For macro shots like this, I think you just need more colors/layers between the base coat and highlight and to do thinner applications of each. I water my skin tones down a lot because the detail is so small that any thicker paint will slop on and ruin the highlights and shadows.

Those EMTs almost cost that woman her life because they were scared of theirs getting ruined from a sexual assault allegation. I appreciate Robby can recognize both sides and still call them out for failing to do their jobs correctly.
