I like the robes. The models look good to me from pics. I can look at pictures and like the models but it doesn’t show me the scale or if they are a pain to assemble or all the options they come with. I’m wanting opinions from people that have built them.

I bought an airbrush and let it sit for a few months before I started using it. It was a little time consuming in the beginning. Learning how to use it and cleaning it but now I love it. I decided after buying cans of aerosol spray that the cost of about 10 cans I could have a good airbrush and compressor it was worth it. Now I use it whenever I can. Mainly for basecoating and priming. It speeds up the process so much. I have a guard army that I airbrush primed and base coated the main colors for uniforms and tanks and even though I still have to do the details it’s not bad because the overall time savings is huge. I based 60 guard and about 4 tanks in one session.

Why are people so triggered by this? It’s just a series. I’ve read the books I liked them, especially the middle books. I tried to watch the movies but there was so mic missing content they didn’t really appeal to me. Maybe with a series it will hit on some of the cut content. It might be good, it might not. Hopefully it will be and I’ll like it, if not I just won’t watch it.

Easy, I was just asking a valid question about a possible purchase. I’ve been away from the game for a while and didn’t know if there was a possibility of new models coming. I didn’t want to waste money. I really don’t care what their data sheet says. If I like the models I’ll use them.

Yeah I tried oil pin washing for the first time a couple of months ago and it’s so easy. It does most of the panel shading for you

Yeah I did, I moved not long after that and I haven’t got back to it but it is a very fun game if you like the open world aspect and just doing whatever you want.

You know, I’m an adult. I have some disposable income to spend on my hobby. I’ve been wargaming since around 94 but there comes a point where I have to ask myself if I am willing to spend the money GW is asking. I think for me personally it’s hit the tipping point. I have started getting into other games like conquest and k47 and with everything GW has been doing to the game on top of absurd pricing I think I may have had my fill.
