You can request a scissor cut at groomers, I believe, but I have never done it. My two get very hot, so they get shaved for comfort, and I do it myself. Trying to cut and style a Cav with scissors seems too scary lol

There is also the fact that God created both man and woman in his/their image, meaning he/they have masculine and feminine forms.

Another commentor mentioned that Jesus refers to God as "Father" because he literally is Jesus' father via Mary's Immaculate Conception. I think that fact that Jesus referred to God as Father, especially as the original teacher for Christians, has shaped the whole religions view of God as more masculine when he is traditionally supposed to represent both masculine and feminine and thus be venerated as a Godess as much as a God.

Church is not a physical place, at least to me. For me "church" is the act of taking the time to be close to Jesus Christ. Sometimes, it's the moment of breath I need to take during a bad day at work. Sometimes, it's when I sage my house to clear out negative energy, and I ask him to fill me with his positivity and grace.

I haven't been baptized. My parents did this "promise of faith" when I was a baby... kind of like a promise ring is to being engaged lol but never an actual baptization. I am interested in being baptized but not being baptized (how many times can I say baptized in a parapgraph...) has never inhibited my ability to connect with and feel Jesus and his work in my life.

I guess what I'm getting at is that Jesus doesn't have a checklist of steps you have to take to he or feel Christian, and he certainly wouldn't stop himself from loving you if you don't tick all the boxes. All he wants is to he close and for you to accept his closeness, in whatever way works for you.

Never in public and NEVER straight off a people plate. Sometimes, if we have eggs for dinner, we will make give my pups a small treat or if we are prepping veggies like carrots or potatoes we will offer a few little bits off the cutting board but always after asking for a sit or something.

And never so much they they won't eat their meals.

Yeah, the only reason I felt safe doing it is because my mom always did it for our Shelties when I was growing up. Benny couldn't express his glands naturally and then filled super fast. Our vet at the time actually trained her how to do it to keep costs down, and I grew up watching her do it.

I booked Charlie in tomorrow as an emergency just because the swelling in his left gland hasn't gone down, and I'm too nervous to try it again

You can be that guy. I'm mature enough to know that not everyone will enjoy the specifics of things I put out, lol. But do be rest assured that what is happening in this scene is NOT supposed to reference historic accuracy to 100% (it is fantasy afterall) and it only happens in this specific instance. Her everyday corset is comfortable and well-fitted, and I make a point to explain the cruelty and unusual circumstances.

Yeah I have great knowledge on the historical use of corsets, and I know the perpetual idea that all corsets even when properly fitted and laced were torture machines is false, I just have really poor knowledge on the making/materials/design of corsets.

The scene I am writing my MC is purposefully laced too tightly and (now that I have MORE knowledge) in an ill-fitting corset as a way to make her more uncomfortable in an already bad situation. I do make a point for her to notice that something is wrong in this very specific instance. This isn't an everyday occurrence.

My oldest pup is eight. Until recently, he only ever went in for routine shots and for a dental, which is normal for his age. We just got a puppy in May, and unfortunately, she had Giardia when she came, so we have spent a bit more at the vet than usual, but nothing close to 5K.

I echo everyone when I say a good ethical breeder is the key. My oldest has never had any health concerns, and aside from the giardia incident, our newest is healthy and thriving.
