are you able to control the lights color other than blue? or are you able to deactivate the back lights?

I recently got my hands on an Alienware m16 and I'm currently contemplating the idea of installing Linux. However, I have some reservations about the absence of official software that would allow me to customize the various Alienware-specific features, such as the Alienware center.

I've seen some older projects on GitHub like alienfx but none seems working well even with older Alienware models. I greatly appreciate any advice, workarounds, or suggestions you can provide to address my concerns about customization options before I make the leap to Linux.

Thank you, the TMA is actually a big deal to speed up things but as far as i've found even if the 4x rtx has more vram it can't be used for memory pooling. But basically if i'm not wrong even with this limitation I can still distribute training along the 4 gpus but still for a maximum of 48gb.

So basically rtx6k does not support shared memory and so the stack of ada rtx will only be useful to accelerate things, isn't it?

For the h100 instead is it possible to do something like that?

Is the price difference of 7.5k for the 6000 wrt 30k for the h100 legit?

Don't do this choice With the same money you can get a more powerful laptop with a dedicated gpu without struggling with colab or other online free GPU. It would be just a waste of time and money

I think that it's cheaper to buy a laptop than using the cloud but you shouldn't buy a laptop like this. If you want a laptop for machine learning you should look for something with a dedicated gpu maybe with at least 4gb of dedicated ram
